The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1941

Chapter 1941: Hundun

Inside the Memory of Space, Rowan pushed on with unwavering conviction, as he knew that everything he was seeing here needed to be passed across to his main body so he had to be wary of risk, yet he knew if he did not push as deeply as he could, then what he could bring back to his main body would not be worth the effort.

The pressure was growing as he headed deeper into the past, but Rowan had suppressed all the growing fears and uncertainty about the fate of his body and the unknown nature of the enemy assaulting him, trusting that his plans had to keep him safe for as long as possible.

Realities around him had been reduced to hundreds, then tens, until there was a single one, and here Rowan stopped as he looked at the first Reality to exist. He did not know what to expect, but it certainly did not disappoint him.

One thing that Rowan had noticed as he reached the beginning of existence was the sheer size of everything. He was no longer surprised by this because at the beginning of everything, there were few laws that bound the material dimensions.

Sounds could travel faster than light, and light could move at a snail’s pace. The chains of laws that would later come together to create structure to all of existence were not yet born, and so, the first of the laws of existence to be born did not have any leash holding back their dominion, and they could grow as much as they wanted.

Rowan’s eyes lit up. This realization might not do much for him, but for his main body, it could be priceless knowledge. The main problem holding back the ascension of his main body was knowledge, as he still suffered from certain restrictions that ignorance was imposing upon him.

This seemingly random realization might just be what his main body needs to finally throw off his last shackles, but Rowan could not be sure. From the moment he could no longer sync all of his knowledge with his main body, there was a gap in his understanding of his affairs, and this epiphany might have long been understood by Eos, but Rowan knew it was still important.

"To reach our full potential, my main body must disregard all laws outside of it."

Placing this realization aside, Rowan basked in the glow of the first Reality; every other Reality that came after it was still ridiculously massive, but nothing could compare to the size of the first Reality in existence.

The present size of Eos in comparison to this Reality was like comparing a single speck of dust to the universe... it was simply incomparable. If Rowan were to try to comprehend the amount of essence that must be flowing through this Reality at every moment, then it was enough to leave him speechless, because despite his great mind, it still took him some moments to calculate the numbers. It broke the concept of measurement even before he calculated past half the mass of this Reality.

How much power would Eos have if his body could grow to the size of the first Reality? Rowan had seen the new Primordials, and he believed that this Reality had a fair chance to defeat them all, even without trying hard.

The name of the first Reality came to him with a weight that spoke of its incredible connection to the birth of all existence and was Eos’s true Ancestor... The name was Hundun.
