Nova’s voice, light but unwavering, sliced through the room. The woman on the bed was so spooked she couldn’t utter a sound, and the guy? He was so terrified his manly pride practically evaporated right then and

“A…” the woman on the bed started to scream the moment she saw Nova.

Before she could even let out a peep, a towel was expertly tossed from up front, landing perfectly to shut her mouth tight.

Nova lounged by the window, giving the rifle on her shoulder a lazy, casual tilt.

She drawled, “I’m not fond of people who don’t listen. If you don’t want to end up dead tonight, zip it.

“Appreciate your cooperation.”

The man lying on the bed was none other than Mihoon–the notorious number–two drug lord of Trinova.

Mihoon’s face drained of all color, completely terrified by the situation.

All the years he’d run his operation here, not once had anyone slipped past the battalion posted outside without a single alarm being raised.

And the person who managed to pull it off? Not some grizzled old war dog…

But a teenage girl.

Mihoon’s shoulders shook involuntarily, some nameless panic clawing at his chest and threatening to choke

him.

He forced himself to act tough, fighting to keep his voice steady even as his nerves frayed. “What do you want?”

“A research report.” Nova’s voice was icy, her gaze cutting down like she was staring at some nobody. She cocked her chin ever so slightly, a cold, predatory light flickering in her eyes.

Nova leaned in, repeating herself with emphasis, “To be clear, a researcher from Zoria misplaced something here not so long ago.

“You’ve been babysitting it long enough. Now, give it back–time to return it to where it belongs.”

With a gun pointed right at him, Mihoon didn’t dare try anything funny.

That research report might be worth a small fortune, but no way he’d put it above his own neck. Nothing was worth dying over.

‘When did the people from Zoria’s frontlines get so damn powerful?‘ Mihoon couldn’t help but panic.

With the research report secured, Nova made quick work of the two sprawled on the bed–knocking them unconscious and tying them up, leaving them completely exposed.

Done with her mission, she retraced her steps and slipped away as silent as a shadow.

By the time Mihoon’s men stumbled upon the scene, Nova would have already disappeared from Trinova, leaving no trace behind

By the time Nova led Andrew out of the casino, the guy had gambled away everything–down to a pair of ill- fitting underwear that barely covered him.

“Achoo!” Andrew sneezed, shivering as he quietly trailed after Nova.

Man, could this night get any worse? Andrew thought, sticking close to Nova like a scolded schoolkid, not daring to fall behind.

Andrew stared at the research report in Nova’s hand with a clueless, deer–in–the–headlights look–he just couldn’t wrap his head around how she’d pulled this off.

He honestly had no clue how she managed to get that report, but…

This was supposed to be an SS–level, total nightmare of a mission for them–and Nova just went and crushed it all by herself.

She seriously soloed an SS–level mission.

Andrew felt like his whole worldview had just been blown wide open, an indescribable shock rippling through

his chest.

‘None of this feels real. Andrew thought, still reeling in disbelief.

As they strolled back toward the hotel, Nova kept her pace relaxed, the night air buzzing with the thrill of victory.

She looked up, eyes catching the crescent moon glowing overhead.

A signature red smirk tugged at her lips, full of unapologetic pride.

Aside from those small–time gigs she used to take on campus, this was her first real mission since breaking out of prison.

Compared to the countless world–class, hell–level missions she’d crushed before her escape, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

Once she rebuilt her power base in the shadows, she’d be back at her peak–just like before she ever set foot in prison.

Ray wasted no time–he put a bullet right through the guy, blood splattering across the room. His face twisted into a cold, menacing grimace, the very picture of ruthless fury.

“Where the hell are you hiding?

“No matter where you run–even if you’re lost in some miserable corner of Africa, chilling in peaceful Zoria, or buried deep in the frozen wasteland…

“I swear, I’ll hunt you down and drag you back, no matter what it takes!”

Back at the hotel, Nova and Andrew had barely stepped through the front door and made it up to the second floor when they were suddenly blocked at the stairwell by a group–including the selection officer, Oliver, Leanne, and Violet.

They looked like they’d just woken up, all anxious and ready to head out to look for someone.

Their eyes widened the moment they caught sight of Nova and Andrew.

Oliver rushed over and said, “Where have you two been? I thought you were just going for a walk. You were gone forever!

“I was worried sick, thinking something might’ve happened to you. I was about to wake everyone up to go look for you!”

Violet looked totally wrecked, barely awake and way past sympathy for Nova. The moment she laid eyes on Nova, any hint of pity from earlier just disappeared.

Violet snapped, voice dripping with annoyance, “Can you not stir up drama for one second? Why do to be such a pain in the ass?

Everyone there, including the selection officer, threw Nova these disappointed looks, clearly fed up with her antics.

They honestly felt she’d gone too far this time.

‘She’s just a teenager, after all… Maybe she got a bit full of herself after showing off with that AK–18 stunt, they all thought.

‘In the end, she’s just an ordinary girl. Guess we put way too much faith in her. Honestly, if she can just not drag us down, we should count ourselves lucky…

That was what went through everyone’s minds at that moment.

Before their disappointment could even set in, Nova stepped up, fishing a crumpled piece of paper out of her pocket and flashing it in front of the group.
