As the game of hide-and-seek started, Gary hid away with Lucas. During the game, Gary discreetly plucked several strands of Lucas' hair. When Lucas felt the pain, he yelped.
Gary hurriedly said, "Be careful not to hit your head!"
Lucas looked up and saw that his head was not too far from the corner of a cabinet. He pouted and said, "I'll be careful next time."
Then, Lucas found a different hiding place. Meanwhile, Gary continued hiding by himself and took out a translucent plastic bag to put away Lucas' hair.
Gary and Julia played with Lucas for a while, but Ruby had an appointment, so she left with Lucas soon after.
After they left, Gary got the driver to send them to the Forensic Identification Center.
He plucked a strand of his hair and one of Julia's. Then, he handed it to the employees and said, "Please help us run a DNA test to see if we are the child's grandparents."
"Got it."

Zane was busily working away in the office when he received a message notification. When he checked it, he realized it was a message from an old friend.
"Let's meet."
Zane replied, "Time and place?"
"Today, on the ground floor of your office building," Sherry Lawson promptly replied.
She wrote, "If you don't show up, I'll tell your girlfriend about everything you once did. If she finds out, will she still love you like she does now?"
Zane considered his schedule for the day and found that he wasn't too busy. But he didn't agree right away; instead, he glanced at me.
"There's nothing to be jealous about. If you want to cheat, you'll defy me even more if I try to control you. If you don't intend to cheat, why should I try to control you?"
But Zane felt somewhat regretful. He remarked, "You don't seem to ever get jealous."
"After getting betrayed in my last relationship, I realized jealousy only hurt me—it didn't solve anything. Also, instead of being jealous, what's more important is for me to reflect on the relationship itself.
"If this relationship is causing me too much harm, I will end it," I said.
Zane approached me and gently caressed my cheek. He murmured, "Sometimes, I wish you'd get jealous. But then again, I don't want you to feel that way."
I gazed at Zane as he looked at me lovingly.
He continued, "If I made you jealous, that meant I was being too intimate with another woman. But I don't want to be intimate with anyone else; I only love you."
