Zach's curvy upper body muscles were sexy. The droplets of his sweat glided down his arms. The next moment, he bent down forcefully the next moment and pressed his body against hers. She did not even have the chance to catch her breath.

Madelyn felt a sharp pain and was briefly lucid for a few seconds. Her soft lips were covered. Her voice was suppressed within her throat.

"After the child is born, Madelyn can raise the child. This is the only requirement I have for you. If you can't even do this, I'll commit suicide."

Ethan lifted his eyes, and a hint of harshness flashed upon them, "Do you have to threaten me like this?"

Evelyn raised her voice, "This is the only way. Only by doing this can Madelyn become the rightful daughter-in-law of our family.

"Don't forget that you two were only engaged yesterday. You two still haven't gotten married yet. If my demand isn't met, she can't marry into our family."

Upon seeing him remain silent, Evelyn thought Ethan might have been convinced. She softened her voice as she continued, "Madelyn is indeed great. She's talented and beautiful. I really like her. But to continue the Arnold family's lineage, I'll absolutely not give in!

"You should think carefully. Is the Arnold Corporation more important, or will you abandon our family and your grandmother for her?"
