Chapter 729
When Kendra heard the man’s voice, her first reaction was not to be saved, but to be afraid.
“Let me go.” Kendra slapped the man hard, but the man became even more excited.

He tore at Kendra’s clothes, smiling lewdly. “I haven’t fucked a woman in a long time. I didn’t expect fate to be so kind to me, sending me a wife.”
“I’m a princess. Let me go if you don’t want to die.” Kendra was terrified. She never dreamed that she would be reduced to this.
The man laughed excitedly, “I don’t care if you’re a princess or a duchess. Once you enter this mountain, don’t even think about running away for the rest of your life. With me, you’ll have food and drink, which is better than feeding the wolves.
“Give me a son, and I’ll let you enjoy delicious food and drinks for the rest of your life.”
“No, don’t!” Kendra shouted.

Athena’s wound wasn’t deep; it only damaged the epidermis.
Even so, Ray still found a doctor for her.
When the doctor came, he was masked. Someone threatened him in his ear, “Don’t look at what you shouldn’t look at, and don’t ask what you shouldn’t ask. Go ahead.”
“Yes.” The doctor looked petty and nodded.
The guard couldn’t help but mutter when he saw him like this, “Why is he so effeminate?”
“Hey, you’re in a humble place. It’s good enough that you have a doctor. Why do you care if he’s tall, short, fat, or thin?” another guard said.
Tents were set up in the woods. Athena sat in the tent, and when the doctor went in, Athena looked over.
She lowered her eyelashes when she saw the doctor’s face.
Ray didn’t seem to be leaving, so Athena said, “Aren’t you going out?”
The wound was on Athena’s arm, and if she was going to be treated, she would have to take off her clothes.
Ray blushed and nodded as he walked out.
As soon as he left, Athena said to the doctor, “Is my injury easy to treat?”
The man nodded gently, “Don’t worry. The injury is not serious. With me here, I will definitely protect you.”

Taking advantage of the fact that there was no one around, Athena grasped the doctor’s hand, “Where is he?”
“He’s right ahead.”
Just as she finished speaking, Ray walked in from outside.
He cast a sharp, suspicious glance at the doctor.
Athena, fearing he would notice something, said, “My injury is minor. Let’s keep going.”
“Atheny.” Ray’s attention fell on Athena, his face full of apology. “I’m sorry for making you suffer.”
Athena wore a stern face, unwilling to say another word to him. “You are not allowed to hurt him.”
Ray glanced at the doctor, seeing him hunched over to the side, not even daring to raise his head.
He nodded gently and said with a good temper, “Okay, I won’t kill him.”
Then he said to the doctor, “You can leave.”
“Thank you, sir.”
The guard looked at Ray suspiciously. Ray signalled to them. “Don’t touch him, let him go.”
After leaving the forest, the guard took off the cloth from the doctor’s eyes.
He pushed him and said, “Get out.”
Upon touching him, the guard was surprised to find that the fellow’s skin was a bit soft, not as hard as a man’s should be.
Jessa lowered her head and quickly left the place.
Ray continued south with Athena, having already written to Lizzie’s uncle, Lennox Schwartz.
The two agreed to meet at the border between Alephia and Nexalasia, and then take a boat south directly to Ramberg.
Ray calculated the time and knew that Lennox should be arriving in Nexalasia soon.
Once they passed Alephia, it would be even safer.
The carriage carried Ray and Athena for five days and five nights, traveling day and night.
