The True Heiress Slays (Quiana) novel Chapter 152

Chapter 152

Chapter 152

Backstage, the mentors sat together, carefully reviewing the profiles of the hundreds of trainees. Jocelyn glanced at Lucy’s resume and nodded approvingly. “She is definitely good. She’s skilled, experienced, and has a solid fan base. She’ll likely

make it to the end.”

“Wendy, Megan, and a few others are also impressive.” Eric added, “And Viola’s dance skills are solid.”

Alex flipped through the files. “Aren’t there a few challengers?”

This was common. Some former idols faded from the limelight, weren’t willing to accept that their time had passed, and wanted to come back and relive their past dreams on the stage. If they won, they would stay, and if they lost, they would leave.

“I’m not sure.” Steven frowned. “Mr. Harper hasn’t said anything.”

“Maybe they won’t even show up,” Ryan said, flipping through Quiana’s profile.

Alex leaned over for a closer look, then paused, looking surprised. “Her profile is so simple.”

Everyone else listed their strengths and experiences, and some influencers even included the number of followers they had on various platforms. However, Quiana’s profile stood out. Apart from her name, gender, age, and height, under the “skills” section, she simply said she could do everything.

Jocelyn smirked slightly. “If this were an exam, she’d be failing right now.”

Alex agreed. He glanced at the screen and said, “She surprised us with her dancing and singing performances earlier. I’m curious to see what she does next.”

“Being on stage is a different story.” Jocelyn replied, her tone skeptical, “On stage, it’s about fan votes. With her army of haters, if she doesn’t get eliminated by the first performance, I’d be surprised.”

Ryan shot them a cold glance. “Unless she wants to leave on her own, she’s not going anywhere.”

Eric raised an eyebrow. “How do you…” He noticed that Ryan was very concerned about Quiana. However, before he could ask, Steven interrupted, talking to someone on the phone with a serious look, “Oh, okay.”

Alex asked, “What’s going on?”

Steven frowned. “The challengers are here.”

As the program would be edited before airing, the order of events could always be adjusted. However, the timing of this sudden change meant that those who had been training for days would now have to face the unexpected disruption.

Even though Megan had been seeing that smile for a few days now, and despite her own beauty, she couldn’t help but be dazzled by Quiana’s charming expression.

Steven stepped onto the stage and announced, “Next up, the first challenger is Amanda Harris.”

“What? Is Amanda here? No way!”

“She’s the winner of the first season of that singing competition ten years ago!”

A group of girls looked surprised. Amanda, who debuted at 16 and was now 28, still looked stunning and exuded a strong presence. She was dressed in a sleek black outfit, a fitted top, and shorts that gave off a confident, sharp vibe.

“I still have dreams. I want to catch up with the trend, and that’s why I’m here!” said she.

After giving her self–introduction, she scanned across the hundred trainees, pausing momentarily at the very top center of the room. With a piercing gaze, she pointed directly at Position One, her tone fierce and challenging. “I challenge Quiana!”
