The Unwanted Daughter When Love Comes Too Late novel Chapter 330

The sudden question made Tracy's heart skip a beat. She instinctively wondered if they'd figured something out.

But seeing the "teacher's" scrutinizing gaze, she realized he was just bluffing her.

She frowned. "What happened?"

She didn't deny it right away. Her eyes showed just the right amount of confusion, like she had no clue what was going on.

The suspicion in the "teacher's" eyes faded a bit, but he still probed. "Norris is babbling about the academy, and now the cops are onto us. You don't know about this?"

If he hadn't said it, Tracy really wouldn't have known. So the surprise on her face was genuine.

After a short pause, she sneered at the man in front of her. "Norris was one of your guests. If he starts rambling after going crazy, how is that my problem?"

The "teacher" studied her expression closely and couldn't spot any cracks.

Maybe he was wrong, after all?

He suspected Tracy not just because of Norris's ramblings.

Norris had lost his mind right after becoming a guest, so it was normal for him to say random things. That was why they'd had people secretly monitoring him to prevent any information from getting out.

But even with that, the information got out. Their cleanup attempts kept failing, clearly because someone was pulling strings behind the scenes.

The Angelic Etiquette Academy had been around for years. The only one who'd slipped their control and could threaten them was Tracy. That was why they'd sent someone to test her.

Now it seemed like it really wasn't her.

The "teacher" refused to give up and kept asking questions, trying to trap her with his words. But Tracy stuck to saying she knew nothing.

In the end, the "teacher" got nothing out of her and had to leave.

But before going, he gave a final warning. "You'd better keep your mouth shut forever!"

Tracy didn't react at all, not even blinking.

But once the "teacher" was gone, she slumped like the air had gone out of her. Her breathing grew heavy.

She'd made up her mind to take down the Angelic Etiquette Academy. But those past memories had caused her real harm.

Unless the Angelic Etiquette Academy was gone for good, the nightmares in her heart would never end.

Tracy's resolve to destroy the Angelic Etiquette Academy only grew stronger.

The road ahead would be long, with low odds of success. But she had nothing left to lose now.

For the past half year, he had been trying to reach out to Tracy. Even without any response, he hadn't given up.

Because of that, he'd argued with Daphne several times.

Going from riches to rags was tough.

Daphne used to be the woman everyone flattered wherever she went. Now she had to care for Benjamin after his stroke, helping with his bathroom needs. People mocked and avoided her everywhere.

She'd started out feeling guilty toward Tracy. But unknowingly, she blamed it all on her.

If Tracy hadn't taken the company and caused Benjamin's stroke, and if she hadn't cut ties with the family, the Jackmans wouldn't have fallen this low.

But Liam still felt guilty toward Tracy. He dreamed of the family going back to how it was. He just needed Tracy to see their sincerity.

So for the past half year, he'd tried every way to contact Tracy, rain or shine. But Tracy always ignored him.

Even the few times he managed to get close to her, her bodyguards threw him out without mercy.

After sticking with it so long, Liam started to waver.

That was when someone from the Angelic Etiquette Academy approached him.
