The Villainess Wants To Go Home novel Chapter 73

"Ma'am"

The voice interrupted my thoughts resulting me to glance back at the middle-aged man that stared at me impatiently, standing with his hands behind his back and waiting for me to leave his sight before he called in the guards.

I held back my tongue, clenching the bag strap from the anger that was bolting inside of me. "If you do not leave this instant, I won't hesitate to call in the guards to kindly take you away" he said with a firm tone as he rose an eyebrow.

"Well then sir, I will be taking my leave." I crossed my hands and titling my hips to the side. "Don't let your words come back to haunt you" I growled at him before swiftly turning around and storming my way back to where I came from.

"What are you going to do now? Are you just going to give up like that?" Homura peaked his beak from the bag.

"No" I answered dead panned, my icy blue eyes scanning my surroundings.

"What are you planning on doing? You better not do anything stupid because then I will be dragged in"

"Says the one who already made a stupid decision on coming along with me" I shot back silencing Homura for a brief moment when he opened his beak to speak "I only came along to supervise you from doing anything stupid that would kill you" Homura voice squawked.

I rolled my eyes at his unbelievable answer "Sure you did" I said sarcastically.

"Shut up" Homura hissed before sliding his beak back into the bag.

I sighed shaking my head in disappointment. 'Stupid bird brain'.

Taking a look behind me for precaution, the middle-aged man wasn't in the same spot as he was before but was talking with another person with papers in his hands, further away from where we were. His attention was averted to the person. I took this situation as an advantage and slipped behind two people who just walked past me.

Both seemed to be commoners of these parts, due to their silver and white hair that resembles the features a person that was born in Ventus.

I stood behind the tall man whose hair was a silver platinum that had been ruined by the breeze of the wind. His shoulder was broad and wide complementing how he worked out a lot and he wore a green jerkin over a white sleeved blouse underneath, brown pants, and boots to top it off. Just by looking from behind he seemed like a man that hasn't reached his mid-20s, yet I couldn't tell from behind.

Beside the tall man was a hunched elderly man that walked in the same pace as the man beside him with his hands clasped together behind his back. He didn't were anything different then his friend or grandson except for the jerkin the tall man wore where the old man wore a brown sleeveless tunic instead.

'I will just slip in with them without that half-evolved baboon noticing'

I stepped beside the old man away from the sight of anyone especially the middle-aged man hiding beside the tall man. "Excuse me good sirs" I said with my best old grandma voice as smiled sweetly already feeling like gagging from acting like a nice old lady.

They both turned their heads to give me a surprised look, their platinum-coloured eyes glancing me suspiciously.

"I'm sorry to have startled you both but I have an urgent need of help" I started.

"May I know who you are?" the old man kindly asked observing me from top to bottom.

"Oh, I must apologise for my rude manners" I said behind my hand that I hovered near to act like a shocked woman.

"My name is Alethia Smith, and I have just came from Isvand to see my grandson who works as a knight in the palace of Ventus" I introduced politely with a bow of my head and a hand to my chest. I lied to the both of them trying to hold an innocent and gracious smile on my face.

The elderly man's black iris expanded in amazement and his jaw dropped while the tall young man looked a little uncomfortable with it. "That is extraordinary. An Isvandy knight of Ventus" he said as he stroked his small beard. "Oh, you have mistaken, my grandson has Isvandy blood running through him, but his parents are from Ventus especially his grandfather, my husband"

"That is rather enlightening" the young man said seeming he wasn't quite fond of my fake grandson.

"Please don't mind my grandson, Elex. He has been trying to get in the academy of knights for a while a now"

I stole a quick glance towards Elex, and he had averted his eyes away, looking straight towards himself with the eyes that reflected an angry dog ready to attack by the order of his master. He didn't seem to fond of his grandpa of saying personal matters to a strange old woman.

"May I know what kind of urgent help you require?" I blinked back to the old man who seemed to smile at me.

"Well as I concluded before. I have come from Isvand, and I want to see my grandson since he has not been himself after his wife's passing not so long ago yet I cannot enter without a permit and I'm afraid he will do something I will regret until my time" my voice had softened, sounding so fragile as if it would break with a flick of finger.

My acting should be noticed by Hollywood itself or I should be rewarded with the oscar award. How can America not see such talented acting skills and yet they decide to hire Tik Tockers who have no experience in such line of job and never attended acting school before but got in because of wealth.

I can't say the same thing to myself because I never attended acting school before, but I am naturally talented if I so myself. Your missing out Hollywood.

I watched old man's face show sympathy towards me, and he sighed, shaking his head. "I am sorry for your loss"

"There is no need to be sorry for. People go whenever their time is up" I explained looking forward towards the giant gate and admiring how beautiful it is built feeling the eyes of the two staring at me from the side.

"Hmm" the old man hummed in response. "Well then, I pray to the Gods he will find happiness in his wife's absence"

"Thank you" I nod my head in respect getting a sympathetic smile from him, yet the young man didn't even say anything and looked down at his feet, his platinum orbs revealing guilt. It looks like he isn't one to talk like his grandfather.

"Do not fret Ma'am, you are welcomed to company us inside and then depart to find your grandson"

Jumping forward into another leap, I heard a grunt of pain before it silenced with loud thuds and more grunts of pain and shock. I peeked back to see the man had fallen over a couple of other people resulting them to fall like dominos.

I smirked.

Turning my attention back to the front I had continued to do the same, landing on top of heads or faces before leaping into the air making my way to another huge entrance guarded with more royal guards with swords or their pollaxes guarding the entrance from me.

I landed silently a few feet away from them, a smirk hiding beneath my hood that slipped on my head while I was in their air. There was complete silence from everyone, not a single sound was heard except for the metal clangs from behind. My icy blues eyes competing with the men in armour that assumed they can beat me, the famous assassin in the assassin world. The black dragon of the Ryu Organisation.

"Beat them down" Homura cheered, peeking his head to watch the show, this onyx eyes gleaming with pride and excitement.

I cracked my knuckles liking the sounds of pops my bones made. "Oh, I will"

The emperor sat uncomfortably on his silver throne. His hands resting upon the armchair of his mighty throne which was placed beside his Empress. His silver eyes that once held the gentleness of a guardian angel was replaced with a stone-cold gaze that made anyone shiver with terror if looked into.

The colour of his soft pale ivory skin was toned lighter into a pale white revealing how exhausted and restless he was. A dark shadow had taken home behind him, hovering over him like a guardian protecting his master.

The emperor's dull silver eyes stared down at the noble doctor from the famous city of Churchwool. A city that resided not far from Taivas. "It's an honour to-" before he even got to send his gratitude when a faint, yet audible bangs and crashes was heard from the other side of the grand throne room of the emperor.

The Emperor and the Empress was startled from their seats, glancing at each other worriedly at the sudden clangs of metal and crashes they heard.

"Protect their royal majesties!" a royal Knight beside the king, a man of high statutes hiding his face within his metal helmet commanded the guards and knights inside the throne room with a slash of his hand, already realising the situations that has come towards them. Sounds of blades unsheathing from their scabbards echoed the room, hard metal footsteps banging the marble floor making their way in front of the royals with their swords or pollaxes aiming towards the door.

Arabella's violet eyes glanced over to her husbands with a worried look in her eyes, grasping the back hand of her husband's hand for life as guards formed a circle around them.

They waited patiently for the intruder or assassin to waltz in so they can attack but there was silence. It was quite, the only thing they can hear is the heavy breathing from the helmets of the knights bestowing the grand marble throne room.

Suddenly the door slowly creaked open. The armoured men clenched their weapons while some formed small wind currents on the tips of their palms ready to blast.

They waited when a small head that was too far to clearly, see peaked in from the gap. Her hair was the only visible feature they could see, and it was white like the snows of winter, slowly draping down her forehead.

"Ummm hi?"
