Chapter 210 Camila Extra 4
Chapter 210 Camila Extra 4
Camila was completely confused as Joseph dragged her along at a run, her little legs barely able to keep up with him.
In no time, they reached the backyard garden, bursting with colorful blooms and sweet fragrances Joseph pulled Camila right into the middle of the flowers.
He looked at her seriously and said, “Camila, let’s play hide–and–seek. You hide, and I’ll come find you. Don’t come out until! find you, okay?”
So he rushed her all the way here just to play hide–and–seek.
Camila blinked, her long lashes fluttering. Joseph’s heart just melted at the sight.
Camila was way too cute. If Elliot and Zachary ever saw her like this, they would probably show up at his house every day to see her, and then he would have even less time with her.
He wasn’t worried about Giovani at all.
Out of all of them, Giovani was the coldest. He always put on a poker face and was never interested in anyone.
Joseph was sure that Camila would never like him anyway.
So Joseph had to keep a close watch on Elliot and Zachary.
Joseph reached out his little hands and cupped Camila’s chubby cheeks. “You have to hide really well, okay?
‘He just wanted to play hide–and–seek with me?‘ Camila thought and found that hard to believe, but she didn’t say no.
After all, she was an adult here, and Joseph was just a ten–year–old kid. She might as well humor him.
She beamed, her big eyes shining and her white teeth showing. “Okay, I’ll do whatever you say, Joseph.”
Joseph was completely powerless against her smile. He couldn’t help but lean down and kiss her on the forehead. “You’re such a good girl, Camila.” With that, he turned and ran off.
Camila scooted deeper into the flowers, the colorful petals half–hiding her small figure. A gentle breeze made the branches and blossoms sway, rustling softly.
She closed her eyes and quietly listened to the sound of leaves and petals swaying in the wind.
In her previous life, she’d lost her hearing for so long that by the time she died, even her speech was affected. Now that she had a second chance, she cherished every sound she could hear. Her world was no longer silent and lifeless.
The rustling of leaves and the mingled scent of flowers made her happy.
Joseph got back to the villa and saw Elliot and Zachary barging in, with Giovani following behind at a relaxed pace.
Elliot’s playful short hair bounced with every move, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Hey, Joseph, where’s your sister? Hurry up and bring her out so we can meet her.”
Zachary looked a bit smug, muttering, “Yeah, I want to see if your sister is cuter than mine.”
As for Giovani, he kept his usual cool and distant look, silent and impossible to read.
Joseph looked totally unwilling. He deliberately spread his arms wide, blocking their way. “What are you guys even doing here? I’m not letting you see my sister.”
Elliot grinned and scooted closer. “Don’t be so stingy.”
Zachary chimed in, “Exactly. If you didn’t want us to see her, why did you send that photo last night?”
Joseph was lost for words. Honestly, he’d just wanted to show off last night.
He didn’t just want to brag to the three of them about how cute Camila was. He wanted the whole world to know that Camila wasn’t just adorable–she was amazing.
All he wanted was for people to praise Camila, not for them to try and steal her away from him.
Joseph refused. “No way. Not happening.”
“Then we’re not leaving,” Elliot and Zachary said, clearly determined to see Camila and refusing to budge no matter what.
Joseph kept a close watch on those two but didn’t pay any attention to Giovani.
Giovani shot the three childish troublemakers a cool glance, and then turned and walked out of the villa.
The yard was spacious, and he liked the peace and quiet, so he headed for the backyard. His small figure stood straight, every step steady and unhurried, as if the world’s noise had nothing to do with him.
In the backyard, Camila was crouched among the flowers, waiting and waiting. She’d been there for half an hour, and her legs were completely numb.
‘Did Joseph forget about me? Whatever, I should get up and move around, she thought.

Camila slowly stood up, but her legs were so numb from crouching that she could barely (ant them
As soon as she stood, her legs gave out and she stumbled forward a few steps, finally landing with a thud on the ground right in front of a pair of shoes.
Thinking it was Joseph, she put on her best pitiful voice: “Joseph, what took you so long? I’ve been wating for the flowers forever.”
As she spoke, Camila looked up, but the moment she saw who was standing in front of her, the froze
It wasn’t Joseph. The boy before her had fair skin that seemed to glow softly in the unlight
His eyes sparkled like stars, but there was a cold distance in them that kept people away fed nose was theaght, his features sharp, and his thin lips were pressed into a tight line.
Even though he was still just a kid, it was obvious he’d grow up to be drop dead gorgeous Wissy bangs fall que us forehead, fluttering in the gentle breeze.
He lowered his head slightly, his gaze landing on Camila. When their eyes met, the coldness in his eyes seamed to soften just a little, a flicker of surprise flashing through them.
He looked at Camila, who was still sitting on the ground, staring at him in shock. After a moment of silence, he exched of his hand, his voice cool and clear. “Joseph’s little sister?”
Camila’s mind went completely blank. She couldn’t hear anything anymore. Her whole world was filled with nothing but the boy in front of her.
She’d imagined countless ways they might meet again, but she never thought it would happen so soon, so uneasy Even though he looked different from the tall, striking, and coldly handsome man in her memodes, the recorde instantly.
He was the one who, in her darkest moment, had burst into her life like a ray of light and pulled her out of the days Giovani was just ten, still chubby–cheeked, but he already had this presence that made strangers keep their diszsz Especially those beautiful, cold, and emotionless eyes. They were icy, but Camila missed them so much that it made her want to cry.
Right now, she couldn’t feel anything else. In her world, there was only him.
Camila didn’t care about the numbness in her legs or the pain from her fall. She scrambled up from the ground, threw her arms wide, and dove into Giovani’s embrace, hugging his waist tightly.
“Mr. Campbell, I finally found you again,” she choked out, her voice trembling with excitement and pent–up sorrow. Tears streamed down her face.
She sobbed without holding back, her shoulders shaking violently, as if every bit of pain and longing from her previous life was pouring out all at once.
Her tears soaked through Giovani’s shirt, burning hot against his chest, as if they could scorch him.
He stood there in disbelief, his eyes wide with confusion and a strange, inexplicable ache. His body was stiff, hands hovering awkwardly in the air.
“Joseph’s little sister…” he murmured.
Camila lifted her head from his arms, her eyes and nose red from crying, her little face streaked with tears. She looked absolutely heartbroken.
She stared at Giovani’s young face, as if she wanted to memorize every single detail, to carve him into her heart forever. In her previous life, it was all her fault. If she hadn’t insisted on going up the mountain to see Agnes’s misery for herself, Giovani’s legs wouldn’t have been crushed by falling rocks.
She died too soon, never even getting to see if Giovani’s legs healed. If his legs never recovered because of her, that pain would be worse than death.
He had always been so good to her. She couldn’t even bear to imagine how devastated he must have been when he saw her cold, lifeless body.
The more she thought about it, the harder Camila cried. Through her sobs, she choked out, “Mr. Campbell, I mis. much, I really, really missed you.”
Ju so
She was crying so hard that her arms tightened even more around Giovani’s waist, as if she was terrified that if she let go, he’d vanish right in front of her.
Giovani, who was always so stoic, was completely flustered as he watched her cry. “D–Don’t cry,” he stammered.
He awkwardly reached out his little hand to wipe away her tears. It was the first time anyone had hugged him so tightly, and the first time a kid had ever told him they missed him.

She seemed to really like him, but he wondered why she was crying so hard the moment she saw him.
For once, the usually sharp Giovani was left totally confused.
He wiped the tears from Camila’s cheeks, but new ones just kept strearping down, no matter how many times he tried. Between sobs, Camila managed to say, “Mr. Campbell, I’ll never leave you again. I’ll never let you get hurt again.”
Giovani didn’t understand what she was saying. All he wanted was to stop her endless tears.
Ever since he lost his mother, his heart had grown colder and harder with each passing year.
But seeing Camila sobbing so desperately in front of him, his heart softened in an instant, filled with helpless compassion.
He was trying to comfort Camila when, all of a sudden, an angry voice rang out. “Giovani, what are you doing?”
Before he could react, Joseph rushed over, shoved Giovani aside, and pulled Camila protectively into his arms. “Giovani, why are you bullying Camila?” Joseph questioned.
The moment Camila was taken from his embrace, Giovani felt a strange emptiness inside.
Giovani’s expression, so gentle when he looked at Camila, turned icy the moment he faced Joseph. “I didn’t bully her.” Joseph was fuming. “If you didn’t bully Camila, then why is she crying?”
Giovani fell silent. He had no idea why Camila started crying the second she saw him.
“Not saying anything? That just proves you did it,” Joseph accused.
Elliot and Zachary both stared at Giovani, looking completely lost.
Camila quickly wriggled out of Joseph’s arms. “Joseph, he didn’t bully me,” she said.
Joseph looked at Camila’s tear–stained, red little face and said seriously, “Don’t be scared. I’ll protect you. Just tell me the truth. Did he bully you?”
Being so fiercely protected made Camila feel all warm inside, but she couldn’t let Giovani get blamed for nothing.
She shook her head over and over. “He didn’t.”
Joseph still didn’t buy it. “If he didn’t bully you, then why are you crying so hard?”
She couldn’t tell him about what happened in her previous life. After thinking for a second, Camila said, “Because… because I like him. These are happy tears.”
Those three words hit Joseph like a bolt of lightning, leaving him completely stunned.
Joseph thought, ‘I just had a little sister yesterday, and she hasn’t even said she liked me. But after meeting Giovani once, she already liked him?‘
He stared hard at Camila, searching her face for any sign she was lying, but her serious eyes made him believe her. “Camila, y–you just met him, and you already like him?” Joseph’s voice was tinged with hurt.
Camila nodded earnestly. “Yeah, I really do.”
Joseph could practically hear his own heart breaking.
Giovani’s ears turned a little red when he heard this.
He thought Camila was adorable when he saw her photo last night and really wanted to meet her.
But seeing her in person today, she was even cuter than in the photo. That soft, sweet look of hers just made his heart melt. Elliot and Zachary eyed Camila with curiosity.
Inside, both of them were thinking, ‘Oh, my gosh. Camila is so chubby and soft. Just like Joseph said, she’s adorable, fair- skinned, and looks so cuddly. She even smells sweet and feels squishy. We love her so much.‘
Elliot, always the outgoing one, grabbed Camila’s tiny hand. The moment he touched it, he realized it really was as soft as he’d imagined.
He was so happy that he could burst, his eyes sparkling as he suggested, “Camila, let’s play house. I’ll be the groom, you be the bride, okay?”
Zachary didn’t want to lose out, so he grabbed Camila’s other hand. “Me too. I want to be the groom. You’ll b Joseph could be the dad, and Giovani could be the mom!”
bride.
Seeing Camila about to be snatched away by Elliot and Zachary, Joseph immediately got upset. “Camila doesn’t want to play such a childish game with you guys, right, Camila?”
Camila’s big eyes darted between Elliot and Zachary. With both of them looking at her so hopefully, she broke into a bright smile. “I want to play.”
Elliot and Zachary instantly started jumping for joy, while Joseph’s little face fell. He looked like he was about to cry, but the other two didn’t care at all.
Chapter 210 Camila Extra 4
“So, Camila, who do you want to be your groom?” Both boys stared at her, full of anticipation.
They were sure Camila would pick one of them, but to their surprise, Camila looked straight at Giovani, pointed at him, and said, “I want him to be my groom.”
With that, she pulled her hands free from Elliot and Zachary and walked right up to Giovani. Under everyone’s shocked gaze, she dropped to one knee like a little gentleman. “Will you marry me?”
In her previous life, she’d been deaf and lame, and had even lost a kidney. Even so, Giovaní never once looked down on her. Lindsey didn’t mind either and always tried to set her up with him.
She could feel Giovani’s restrained affection for her.
Now that she could start over with a healthy body, she could make sure she’d never end up like before.
She didn’t have to hold back anymore. She could follow her heart and choose him, even if it was just a game.
Giovani was completely caught off guard by Camila’s move. He froze, his fair face turning bright red. Even his ears were burning, like a ripe tomato.
His eyes went wide with shock, his mouth slightly open, but he couldn’t get a single word out. Joseph watched the whole thing, feeling like his heart had shattered into a million pieces.
