Chapter 218 Camila Extra 12
Joshua was so shocked that his eyes went wide.
He had always known Glovani was a sly and calculating person, but he never expected him to be this devious–just a few words from him, and Joshua had been manipulated into committing a crime.
Joshua glared at Glovani with pure hatred. “You bastard! I hope you burn in hell.*
Giovani’s smile was cold and distant. “Do you think calling me a bastard is gonna ft me? Joshua, you’d better start worrying about yourself.”
Joshua was so furious that he nearly passed out. “If I had known you’d turn out to be this twisted, I would have strangled you the moment you were born!” he shouted.
However, Giovani remained completely unfazed. To him, Joshua’s rage was nothing more than the desperate flailing of a man on the brink of ruin.
The Campbell family was in chaos tonight. Joshua was arrested for assault, while Robin was sent to the hospital.
Giovani lay in bed, utterly satisfied. Staring at the night outside, he felt a rare sense of joy. He couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come, and just the thought of seeing Camila made him happy.
Half a month passed, and a lot had happened during that time.
The most shocking thing was Joshua’s conviction for intentional assault, landing him a five–year prison sentence.
As for Robin, she was devastated after losing her tongue, and her emotions were spiraling out of control.
Giovani, the schemer, paid Robin a “kind” visit to the hospital. As expected, his presence only fueled her rage. She looked like she wanted to strangle him on the spot.
Seizing the opportunity, Giovani had her sent straight to a psychiatric hospital.
Robin’s crazy behavior led everyone to believe that her mental breakdown was caused by the trauma of having her tongue cut out by Joshua.
No one had ever guessed that a ten–year–old like Giovani was the mastermind behind it all.
Half a month later, the Stuard residence was buzzing with excitement because Camila’s admission offer arrived, bringing incredible news. Not only was she the top scorer in the whole state but she had also been admitted to Laystoland University of Defense Technology.
Harrison and Irene clutched the letter, their hands trembling as tears of joy streamed down their faces.
“Camila is the top scorer!” Harrison exclaimed.
“And she got into Laystoland University of Defense Technology!” Irene added.
Joseph said, “I’m so proud of her.”
The Stuard family gazed at Camila as if she were the most precious treasure in the world.
What the Stuard family hadn’t anticipated was the swarm of reporters waiting outside their house after hearing the news.
Cameras in hand, they pointed them straight at Camila, the flashes going off non–stop. The microphones were even shoved
in her face.
Getting first place was definitely something to be proud of. Every year, the top scorer gets celebrated by everyone, but a five -year–old taking first place was a first in Laystoland’s history.
The reporters, whose eyes were gleaming with excitement, were practically beside themselves.
Their instincts told them that Camila’s emergence in the public eye would cause a sensation.
They believed that a child displaying such extraordinary intelligence at such a young age was bound to grow into someone the country could rely on.
Determined to secure exclusive coverage, the reporters pulled out all the stops, each vying for the first scoop.
The Stuard residence became a bustling hub of activity, with visitors streaming in and out. After finally seeing off th reporters, Harrison and Irene were exhausted.
They looked at Camila with even more doting Successfully unlocked!st felt grateful to the Jackson family in Sancho

They were glad she wasn’t staying at the Jackson residence.
Irene pulled Camila into her arms, gently stroking her soft hair. She thought, “Camila is so clever and bright. She’s a little genius.”

With a warm smile, Irene said, “Carrals, i ward to hold a celebration party for you”
Camits kept up her well behaved appearance, feating happy that she was finally going to have a celebration party of her
OWN
In her previous life, both she and Agnes had been accepted into univerfoes Agnes had only rearaged to get into a random school, while Camila had been admitted to Wasmore University, the top university in Laystoland
Yet, the Jackson family had only thrown a celebration party for Agnes Camila, on the other hand, was arrested at Agnes party
From that moment on, they had taken completely different paths
Agnes remained the cherished daughter of the Jackson family, celebrated as the darling of Sanches elite circles, while Camila was branded a murderer overnight
However, this time, she had loving parents and a protective brother, friends who accepted her, and even her very own celebration party.
Her biggest regret in her previous life was earning a spot at university, only to have that dream crushed as she wasted away in a dark prison cell.
This time, everything was different, and she could finally live the college life she had always dreamed of
Camila felt moved, and tears rolled down her cheeks before she could stop them.
Irene was worried. “Sweetheart, why are you crying?”
Camila wrapped her arms around Irene’s neck. “Mom, thank you for bringing me home from the orphanage. Otherwise, I might never have had a celebration party in my entire life.
Irene’s eyes softened. “Don’t cry, sweetheart. Whatever others have, you’ll have too, and even better”
Harrison stretched out his arms and pulled Irene and Camila into a tight hug. Joseph also threw himself into the mix, wrapping his arms around them all. The four of them laughed, their warmth filling the room.
However, an unexpected guest arrived.
“Camila, I’m here for you. Come home with me.” Belinda’s voice rang out from outside the villa.
“You can’t go in.” A servant firmly stopped her.
“Get out of my way. My daughter is inside!” Belinda shoved past after a brief scuffle, only to see Camila nestled in the arms of the Stuard family, surrounded by their love.
Belinda froze, her chest tightening. She found the scene before her unbearably harsh.
Camila was her daughter, yet there she was, nestling in someone else’s arms.
She couldn’t wrap her head around it. In her old life, when they took Camila back, she was still in the orphanage. She thought, ‘Why is she here in Northeville now?‘
Belinda thought for a while until a sudden realization hit her. ‘In my previous life, Camila had been adopted by the Stuard family around this time, only to be abandoned later and sent back to the orphanage.
‘If Camila is destined to be abandoned, then I have to take her back.‘
Belinda finally understood everything, and this time, she swore she wouldn’t hurt Camila as she had in her old life.
She swore she would shower Camila with all her love and pamper her like a princess. And as for the harm Agnes caused Camila, she would make sure to pay it back.
Feeling justified, Belinda’s confidence surged. She glared at the Stuard family and sneered. “You already have Joseph. Why are you keeping my daughter?”
“Your daughter?” Irene scoffed. “You couldn’t even protect her, letting her end up in an orphanage. How dare you call Camila your daughter?”
Belinda clenched her fists. “I’m her mother. You can’t cut off the bond between us no matter what you do.” Belinda’s shameless words made Camila’s disgust for her deepen. She thought, ‘She kept saying she was sorry. Didn’t realize how much pain she had caused me in my old life? Didn’t she know how much I hated the Jackson family
‘If she truly wanted to make amends, she should go and never come to me again.‘
Belinda turned her gaze to Camila, her eyes brimming with feigned tenderness. “Camila, I’m your mother. Come home with
me.”
Camila’s face turned stern, a stark contrast to the warmth she showed the Stuard family. “My home is here,” she said. Feeling hurt by Camila’s coldness, Belinda’s heart ached. “Camila, you have to believe that I love you. I went through so much to bring you into this world. It was your father who sent you to the orphanage. I had nothing to do with that.

“Now that I’ve finally found you, so come back with me, okay? Don’t you love dresses? I can buy you as many as you want.”
Camila sneered inwardly. It wasn’t about dresses. It was about the love behind every gift from the Stuard family. That was something Belinda could never give her.
Even if Belinda bought her the most precious thing, she wouldn’t care.
Snuggling into Irene’s embrace, Camila said softly, “Mom, I’m tired.”
Irene gently patted Camila on her back, saying softly, “If you’re tired, just go to bed. You must be exhausted after dealing with so many reporters today.”
With that, she carried Camila upstairs without a second glance at Belinda.
Seeing this, Belinda lunged forward in a frenzy. “Where are you taking my daughter? Give her back to me!”
Harrison immediately stepped in to stop Belinda. “You’re not welcome here. Please leave.”
“Why should I? If you want another child, just have one then. Why do you have to steal someone else’s daughter? How can you be so shameless?” said Belinda.
Harrison frowned, unwilling to waste time on a madwoman. “Throw her out.”
At his command, two men in black suits appeared, each grabbing one of Belinda’s arms. They promptly escorted her out and tossed her outside.
This time, no matter how much Belinda caused a scene outside, no one opened the door for her.
As the sky grew dark, Belinda, exhausted from shouting, glanced at the Stuard residence with disappointment before reluctantly leaving.
As Belinda approached the door of her shabby apartment, she heard Arthur’s angry voice.
Arthur said, “Harry! Is this how you take care of your sister? I can’t believe while your mom and I were stuck in the police station, you had her living in this dump.
“You’re a tough boy, and hardship will toughen you up, but your sister has been pampered her whole life. How could you let her suffer like this?
“You did it on purpose, didn’t you? You’re as infuriating as your mother!”
Belinda trembled with anger, thinking, ‘How could this bastard treat my child like this? This is his son! Who knows how he must have mistreated Camila in ways I never saw?‘
With a loud crash, Belinda kicked open the door, and the sudden noise startled Arthur. He turned, his face twisting in fury when he saw her. “What the hell is your problem?”
Belinda’s eyes blazed with fury. She didn’t waste time on words. Instead, she grabbed the broom by the wall and swung it at Arthur with all the strength she could muster.
Arthur scrambled to protect himself, shouting, “Are you insane? Stop it!”
Belinda, fueled by years of pent–up rage, showed no signs of stopping. Her face grew fiercer, and within moments, Arthur’s face was bruised and swollen.
Agnes retreated to a corner, trembling in fear. Though young, she wasn’t stupid. She could tell that her once–loving mother had changed.
She noticed that ever since the birthday party for Camila, Belinda’s gaze towards her had been filled with hatred as if she were looking at her enemy.
Harry stood silently, watching Arthur get beaten in silence.
It was only when Belinda grew tired that she finally stopped. Pointing at Arthur’s nose, she shouted, “You have no right to criticize my son!”
Arthur gritted his teeth and retorted, “I was doing this for his own good. How does that upset you? Belinda, you’re becoming more and more unreasonable.”
“Unreasonable?” Belinda suddenly burst into laughter. However, tears streamed down her face as she laughed. She said, “You always say you can’t bear to see Agnes suffer, but what about Harry and Camila, whom you tossed orphanage? Are they supposed to suffer?”
Arthur’s heart skipped a beat. He thought, ‘Belinda knew. How?‘
“What nonsense are you talking about? I don’t understand a word you’re saying!” he said.
he
Belinda slapped Arthur hard across the face. “You got my father killed, left my newborn daughter at an orphanage, and then brought Agnes, the child of your mistress, for me to raise. You are an asshole.”
Arthur stared at Belinda in disbelief. It seemed that she knew it all.
Chapter 218 Camila Extra 12
“What now? Cat got your tongue, huh?” Belinda’s face was streaked with tears, and her voice was trembling with fury.
The truth was out, and Arthur saw no point in pretending anymore. He sneered and said, “So what? Your father forced me into this sham of marriage. That arrogant bastard always despised me, and he deserved what he got.
“Once he was gone, dealing with a fool like you was just a piece of cake to me. I just didn’t expect you to find out so soon. Tell me, how did you figure it out?”
“Arthur, you monster! I’ll kill you!” Belinda, pushed to the edge, gripped the broom tightly, and swung it wildly at him.
Unable to fend her off, Arthur grabbed Agnes and ran away.
Belinda chased after them for a while but couldn’t catch up. The broom slipped from her hands. She slowly crouched down, hugging her knees as she sobbed uncontrollably.
She muttered, “Camila, when will you come back to me? I miss you so much. I just want to make things right and to fix all the terrible mistakes I’ve made.”
Images of the reporters she had seen at the Stuard residence earlier flashed through her mind. It seemed that Camila was even more extraordinary than before.
In her previous life, Camila was exceptional too, but she didn’t shine until she was eighteen. This time, she got accepted into college at just five years old, with countless reporters scrambling to interview her.
Belinda thought, ‘This talented girl should have been mine.
‘Was this second chance given to me only to make me experience the pain of losing everything all over again?‘ Harry stood at the doorway, watching Belinda cry her heart out. His chest tightened, feeling sorry for her.
