Matthew looked up at her. "Amelia, what a coincidence."
"Come here." Amelia beckoned him over.
He obediently stepped closer. "What's up?"
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Amelia asked.
"No." Matthew found the question odd but answered truthfully.
Amelia's eyes glimmered mischievously. "Then how about you date me?"
Lila almost groaned when she heard this. She wondered how to stop Amelia from ruining her budding relationship.
Then she heard Matthew's rejection. "No way. Idols aren't allowed to date, and more importantly, I don't even like you."
Seeing Amelia's frown, he quickly explained, "I mean, not in that way…"
"Get lost! Do you think I'm dumb?" Amelia straightened up and walked away.
Matthew was confused as he watched her leave. Did he just make her mad?
Later, he went to find Michael during a break. "Michael, how do you cheer up a girl?"
Michael nearly choked on his tea. "You're still young. Why are you asking about relationships already? No way. Idols can't date, and getting into a relationship too early is a no-go!"
"No, that's not it." Matthew waved his hands in denial. "I said something wrong this morning and upset Amelia. I just want to apologize."
Before Michael could respond, Teddy suddenly popped in. "I heard you're trying to apologize to a girl. Now that is my specialty!"
Just then, Lila walked in and overheard him. She immediately grabbed him by the collar.
"Don't you dare use whatever you learned from that scam!"
Teddy smugly held the gift up to her. "Isn't it nice?"
Lila was speechless. She turned to Michael and Matthew, still skeptical. "Do you guys think it looks good?"
They both answered in unison, "Doesn't it?"
Lila was flabbergasted and rubbed her temples. "Give me a moment."
She took a deep breath and then looked at the three of them. "Is this what you consider nice?"
The three of them pondered her words and exchanged glances. Teddy spoke up, "Wait a second… Did you assume we don't have an eye for beauty because we're guys?
"Aren't you shocked by this?"
Lila was at a loss for words. "I am shocked. But this thing…"
