Liam opened the door to find Aiden standing outside, holding a bag of nutritional supplements, a gentle look in his eyes.
The two men looked at each other, surprised.
"..."
"..."
Silence descended.
The atmosphere instantly became a little awkward.
When she heard no sound from the entryway for a while, Liliana grew curious. Supporting her belly, she slowly walked over.
"Who is it...?"
Her soft voice trailed off the moment she saw Aiden.
"Uh..."
Liliana’s lips twitched.
Well, this was great.
Now there were three of them standing awkwardly at the door.
Aiden, being the oldest of the three, was the first to recover.
The refined man’s gentle gaze fell on the pink apron tied around Liam’s lean waist, a flicker of something in his eyes.
He subtly averted his gaze and said warmly, "Liliana, would it be alright if I came in for a bit?"
Only then did Liliana snap back to reality, quickly welcoming him in. "Oh, of course! Aiden, come in."
She looked curiously at the bag in his hands, which was filled with supplements for pregnant women.
Aiden smiled and placed it on the coffee table, explaining his reason for visiting. "Liliana, Phoenix’s autumn and winter collections have been very well-received. The company has been nominated for a Vanguard Design Award."
"Barring any surprises, you might just win the award for Best New Designer."
Aiden had come to share this good news.
