Too Late, Mr. Cooper: Your Bride Ran with Your Baby novel Chapter 334

It had been a long time since Linton had last seen Isabella.

She was much thinner, her mental state fragile and erratic. She mumbled constantly to herself, her hair a tangled mess. The polished, glamorous woman she once was had vanished, replaced by a pathetic, broken shell.

Linton’s face was an emotionless mask, his handsome, aristocratic features radiating a cold indifference. He sat in a chair at the facility, one leg crossed over the other. Even in silence, he exuded the powerful, commanding aura of a man at the top.

He looked down at her and got straight to the point. "Aren't you ready to come clean yet?"

At the sound of his familiar, cool voice, Isabella’s head twitched. A strange smile curved her lips. She looked up at him, her eyes red-rimmed, her body trembling as if in extreme fear.

"Brother... I..." she began, her tone a pathetic attempt at coquettishness.

"Don't call me that," Linton cut her off, his voice growing even colder. "I left the Cooper family a long time ago. I have nothing to do with you."

Isabella wasn't surprised by his heartlessness. That was his nature. From the very beginning, Liliana had always been the sole exception. If Mrs. Cooper hadn't spent years drilling the idea of repaying a debt into his head, guilt-tripping him daily, he likely would never have spared Isabella a single glance.
