Liliana stared at him in surprise, feeling as though the whole world had taken on a surreal quality.
Holy cow.
Talk about living to see it all.
Who would've thought Logan would ever admit a mistake and apologize to her? It was something she'd never dared imagine before.
Liliana found it quite fascinating. At that moment, she truly believed her mother’s claim that Logan had been transformed by Mrs. Grayson's upbringing.
Having the right parents really does make all the difference.
Sometimes you can't just blame the kid. When you think a child is weird, they're often the most normal one in the family—the real weirdos are the parents behind them!
Liliana felt she'd gained a whole new understanding of child-rearing. It was like a light bulb had gone off in her head, suddenly opening up her perspective.
Liliana looked at Mrs. Grayson with admiration. Then, her eyes flickering, she reached out and tentatively rubbed Logan's fuzzy little head, saying somewhat awkwardly,
“Alright then, I forgive you.”
“Promise Sister Liliana you won't be rude to people anymore. Learn well from your grandmother and be a good, sensible child.”
Logan's young cheeks flushed slightly with embarrassment. He obediently nestled into Mrs. Grayson's embrace and gave a quiet nod.
Mrs. Hart beamed with delight. She had always been fond of children, though Isabella's past prejudice against Logan had clouded her view.
But now, seeing the boy improve, becoming obedient and well-behaved, her heart couldn't help but soften. She looked at him with kind, gentle eyes.
Mrs. Hart thought for a moment, then turned around and grabbed another bag of snacks for him. Smiling, she said,
“Logan, take these snacks upstairs and play with Sister Liliana for a while. Your grandmother and I need to talk privately.”
"Okay, Thank you, ma’am!"
Logan called out in his babyish Amelia voice, looking very polite.
