Too Late, Mr. Cooper: Your Bride Ran with Your Baby novel Chapter 86

“I was just hoping you could help me out. If you see Aiden later, could you talk to him for me? See if we can recruit him.”

“The company is just starting out. We need a big name like Aiden to build our reputation and get noticed quickly.”

Linton frowned. “Is he that famous?”

“He’s a genius in the world of jewelry design, one of the best in the business, both here and abroad,” Isabella explained with a smile.

Linton’s eyes narrowed. He suddenly recalled seeing Liliana and Aiden having dinner together at a restaurant not long ago. An inexplicable wave of irritation washed over him.

He suppressed his temper, his gaze flickering with a hard-to-read emotion. “I’ll see what I can do,” he said coldly.

Just as the words left his mouth, he caught a glimpse of a familiar figure near the entrance. He paused, his eyes instantly lighting up as a slow smile spread across his lips.

Linton took a step, ready to walk toward the woman he had been thinking about day and night.

“Liliana.”

Suddenly, a warm, gentle voice cut through the air. It was a voice that seemed capable of melting ice, putting anyone at ease.

Aiden was walking in from the red carpet. Tall and slender, he dressed in a impeccably tailored white suit that highlighted his superb physique.

Aiden was already handsome in a refined, scholarly way, but the pair of gold-rimmed glasses he wore added to his intellectual charm. When he smiled, he radiated a warmth that felt like a spring breeze.

He walked toward Liliana, smiling and raising a hand in greeting.

“...Aiden!”

Liliana’s face lit up with a brilliant smile, her eyes curving into happy crescents. She hurried over to him, tilting her head up to look at him with a cheerful grin.
