Farrel stroked Ree's head who was sleeping, the woman was just getting calm when the personnel who were sent to look for Dave had provided quite good news. They'd managed to detect Charles's whereabouts, and now they had to hope that Dave was with the man.
"You don't want to step in?" the heavy sound of the ocean broke the silence. Earlier, Valerie said goodbye to return to Bara's room so that Samudra could come here.
"I can't leave it alone, Sam," Farrell said with a heavy sigh.
"There's Valerie. And if you want, I can order Vanesha to come here. After all, they should know that Retha is still alive and is with us now."
"Wait for the situation to be safe, Sam. Dave's still missing, and I don't want to lose them a second time. Besides, being around him makes me remember our memories little by little."
"Yes, it's up to you," Samudra nodded his head.
"But, Sam. What do you think was the factor in the man kidnapping Dave?"
"A lot, he can threaten both of you with the kid. For example he asks for barter, he will give Dave if you give Re to him."
"Why would he want my wife if he only wanted to torture her?" growled Farrell.
"How do I know," Ocean shrugged his shoulders, "there is no other reason for that man to kidnap Dave other than asking Re to come back to him, money? He's a pretty well-off guy, I don't think he is too concerned with money."
"But, I feel-" Farrell's words were interrupted as his cell phone vibrated.
Farrel reached into his thick coat pocket, then shifted the green icon displayed on the screen of a flat object in his hand. His forehead frowned when he saw a row of numbers that was so foreign on the contact, Farrel finally put the object to his ear.
"Yes?" said Farrell.
"Help me ... "
"Dave ?!" shouted Farrel, making Ocean immediately rise from his seat, "where are you?"
"I don't know ... I-I'm with Dad," Dave said in a trembling voice.
"No, he's not your father. I am your father, don't call him Dad! Now tell me, what has he done to you?"
"He took me to a place I didn't know ... it was dark, and smelly. Help me ..."
"Dave, where's Charles?"
"He's right here next to me," Dave said, "with a gun to my head."
"Charles!" shouted Farrell, "let go of my son!"
"Charles, let go of my son," replied Charles, following Farrell's mocking tone, "give that damn woman back to me, and I'll give you this useless child."
"Are you crazy, huh? What are you asking for if you just want to torture him ?!"
"Yes, he owes me a lot. To be precise, he owes him his life."
"Don't ever dream, Charles. I'll never give it up to you, ever!"
"Go ahead if you insist, I just have to pull the trigger of this gun, and this useless child will disappear from the face of the earth," Charles laughed evilly, accompanied by the sound of slapping and screaming Dave.
"What did you do to him, damn ?!" growled Farrell.
"Just a small slap," Charles laughed again.
"You keep my word, if you dare to touch it once again, then I will make you regret being born!"
"Wow, you threatened me, didn't you?" again and again Charles laughed, "well, then you also have to keep my word, Farrel Manggala Wdyatmaja. If tomorrow, you don't come to the place I want with that woman, I'll make sure that the body of this useless child will be. arrived at your house. "
"Don't you mess around, or you will pay the price!"
"Yes, up to you." said Charles before the man hung up the phone unilaterally
"Damn it!" muttered Farrell.
"What did he say?" asked Samudra, putting on a worried face.
"He will finish off Dave, if tomorrow I do not take Retha where he wants," said Farrel resignedly, "you're right, Sam. He wants Retha."
"Then, do you want?"
"Of course-"
"Yes!"
It wasn't Farrel who made a sound, but Ree who woke up from his sleep with swollen eyes. The woman was crying again. Farrel immediately approached Ree, and hugged her tightly again.
"No, I'll never leave you to him."
Dave shook his head, "No. I'm glad to see you."
"Dave," Ree said in a whisper, "are you strong enough to run?"
"I am strong,"
"All right. Mother will count one to three, then Mother will pull you and we have to run as fast as we can to the highway there," said Ree in a whisper, "do you understand?"
Dave nodded his head.
"One,"
"Two,"
"Three!"
Ree pulled Dave running toward the highway. Charles, who woke up immediately followed, but he jerked back because Farrell immediately pulled him. It didn't take long for Farrel to get on top of Charles's body and give him another punch.
Bugh!
"That's for you who tortured them," Farrel continued to punch Charles.
Charles could not fight back, because he had already lost badly. Farrel continued to beat him blindly, until Samudra came with several policemen to separate.
"Farrell, enough!" Ocean tries hard to attract Farrel, but fails because the man is stronger.
"I won't let him live!"
"Farrell, stop!"
Farrel ignored the screams of the Ocean. Ocean ruffled his hair frustrated and confused, Farrel was unstoppable. And the only one who can stop Farrell is Retha. Samudra's eyes roamed around looking for Retha's whereabouts, and her eyes caught Retha and Dave who were trying to cross the road which was so congested.
Just now Samudra was about to scream for Retha, but her lips were open wide because of the sight she had just witnessed. Samudra immediately pulled Farrel's body, who was still torturing Charles even though the police had told him to stop.
"Farrell, Retha got hit!"
Coinciding with that, Farrell's fist for Charles came to a halt.
