Chapter 131
Benjamin knew the true nature of those female celebrities in the entertainment industry better than anyone.
As Adrian’s friend, he had to advise him.
“It’s not Ashley,” Adrian said flatly.
Benjamin was stunned.
“If not her, then who else could it be?”
He couldn’t think of a second person off the top of his head, since Ashley was currently the hottest topic associated with Ferris.
“It’s… Aurora.”
There was silence on the other end of the phone.
Aurora.
This name awakened Benjamin’s memory. He thought for a moment, then suddenly remembered who Aurora was, shocked enough to nearly jump off the sofa.
“What did you say? You want to steal Ferris’s–Luna??”
If it were Ashley, that would be understandable, since they weren’t married yet.
But Aurora…
He recalled that name that had once been the subject of discussion throughout their circle–Aurora, the woman who had married Ferris three years ago!
“Adrian, what are you thinking? She’s Ferris’s Luna!” Benjamin paused, “How is she worthy of you?”
Adrian’s tone remained steady: “Worthiness isn’t determined by external conditions.”
Hearing this, Benjamin knew he was truly smitten, completely fallen.
He began to wonder what kind of charm Aurora possessed to make the usually calm and rational Adrian so obsessed.
But he also understood in his heart–even if Adrian liked Aurora, would Ferris let her go?
Any man, even if he no longer loved his woman, wouldn’t willingly let another man touch her.

“Fine, handle it yourself,” he said, knowing further persuasion was useless.
Adrian didn’t want to hear more words he wasn’t willing to face and hung up directly.
Since meeting Aurora again, he had made up his mind–this time, he would never miss her again, he would definitely protect her well and stay by her side.
Inside the villa, when I returned home, Ferris was already back.
Besides him, Ashley was also in the house.
She sat on the sofa in an exquisite outfit, her eyes filled with barely concealed anger.
A few days ago, she had wanted Drew to make a move on me but that useless guy said there were bodyguards and he couldn’t get close to me.
And now, the online news was escalating, and her reputation was nearly half ruined.
She had tried to investigate my past, but that information seemed to have been deliberately erased–she couldn’t find anything.
The less she could find, the more panicked she became. She was afraid I would really steal Ferris away.
Seeing me return, Ashley slowly stood up, looking fragile and wronged as she said to Ferris: “Ferris, I’ll leave first.”
As she passed by me, she gave me a meaningful look.
I was somewhat puzzled–what was she planning now?
Before I could return to my room, I felt Ferris’s gaze fall on me, on the clothes I had just changed.
“Tell your friend to drop the lawsuit,” Ferris said.
I was stunned for a moment, then realized–Ashley couldn’t handle those online scandals, so she had come to ask
him to intervene.
