Alpha's Regret: False Mate True Luna novel Chapter 214

Chapter 214

At that moment, I made up my mind-

No matter what, I had to completely sever ties with Ferris.

That night, a fierce snowstorm raged outside, and the entire world seemed frozen.

I was held tightly in Ferris’s arms, my body rigid, my throat parched, my mind in complete chaos.

“I want some water,” I said listlessly, my voice hoarse beyond recognition.

He squinted, slowly opening his eyes, reaching for water from the nightstand.

I saw the bite marks on his hands, and the wounds on his shoulders and at the corner of his mouth.

He unscrewed the water bottle and handed it to me.

drank a few sips. Though my throat was no longer so dry, my stomach began to churn, and I felt terribly nauseous.

‘Ugh!” I couldn’t hold back anymore. I pushed away his arms around me and leaned over the bed, retching violently.

He got up and patted my back: “What’s wrong?”

I swatted his hand away, looking at him with disgust: “Don’t touch me!”

His hand froze in mid-air.

I turned back, looking at him coldly: “You can get lost now, can’t you?”

His expression immediately darkened. The next second, he reached over and gripped my cheeks, ignoring my struggles.

I’m giving you one hour to pack. In one hour, we’re going back to Silver Moon Pack.”

He released me, got up and put on his bathrobe, then turned and walked out of the room.

I didn’t think about escaping again.

Last night’s nightmare had made me completely understand that the reason Ferris was still entangling with me was because we were still nominally married.

I picked up my phone and called Cynthia.

“Cynthia, do you… do you know any lawyers who handle divorce cases?”

She paused for a few seconds on the other end, then answered firmly: “Of course.”

An hour later, I stood at the door with my suitcase, waiting for him.

Ferris came out, followed by two bodyguards.

He probably hadn’t expected me to be so cooperative and was momentarily stunned.

He approached me, impeccably dressed in a suit, his expression cold and stern: “Come to your senses?”

“Mm.” My tone was cold, devoid of any emotion.

The bodyguards took my suitcase and silently followed behind us.

I didn’t look back at him. Our group got in the car and headed straight to the airport.

They didn’t know-someone had been secretly watching all of this.

At four in the afternoon, we arrived at Silver Moon Pack.

Wearing a thick down jacket, I walked out of the airport. Outside, snow was flying everywhere, a vast expanse of white, with bone-chilling winds.

I instinctively wrapped my clothes tighter around me.

Seeing this, Ferris was about to reach out and pull me into his arms when a clear voice rang out: “Aurora!”

I looked in the direction of the voice and saw Cynthia waving at me from a distance.

This was her first time seeing Ferris; she had only seen him on TV and in newspapers before.
