Chapter 46
Everyone turned to look at the entrance of the exhibition hall in unison.
In that moment, the air seemed to freeze.
A man in a dark gray windbreaker walked into the venue against the light, his steps composed, his aura stern and cold, each step carrying unquestionable
power.
His ice–blue eyes were like a winter snowfield, coldly sweeping over the crowd, instantly silencing everyone.
Adrian Thorne–Alpha of the Black Mountain pack, representing absolute power that must not be provoked.
The Black Mountain pack’s reputation thundered throughout the wolf community, yet remained very mysterious. It was said that every warrior of the Black Mountain pack underwent strict selection, powerful and ruthless.
They didn’t participate in most pack disputes, yet possessed intimidating power that towered above other wolf packs.
At this moment, Adrian was followed by several black–clad warriors, each with a face full of frost, coldly surveying their surroundings.
He didn’t pause, walking directly toward me and standing in front of me.
Adrian’s gaze lingered on my face for a moment, his brows slightly furrowed, his voice low and cold: “Who gave you permission to touch her things?”
One sentence shocked the entire venue.
Ashley’s movements froze, her face instantly changing.
‘Alpha Adrian… you misunderstood, we just wanted to…”
‘Shut up.”
Adrian coldly interrupted her.
He turned toward Ferris, the corner of his lips curving into an almost temperatureless arc: “Did you instigate this?”
You are Black Mountain’s Alpha.” Ferris’s expression stiffened, “This matter has nothing to do with you.”
The two Alphas faced off sharply, tension thick in the air, as if a war would break out the next second.
‘She is my person.”
Adrian spoke word by word, his tone like a sharp silver blade, resounding clearly, “If you touch a single finger of hers, I’ll make your entire wolf pack pay the
>rice.”
He stepped forward, his aura suddenly rising like a crushing blizzard.
The air seemed to solidify.
Ferris’s eyes instantly darkened, standing aside without speaking, but his fists had quietly clenched.
He turned to look at me, his tone restraining some of its sharpness, leaving only reassuring steadiness: “Aurora, leave here with me. No one has the right to subject you to this humiliation.”
I was stunned, my throat slightly hoarse.
