Thorne’s gaze lingered on Charlene for two or three seconds before he finally looked away. He seemed to be engaged in a serious conversation, but Dalton noticed where Thorne’s attention truly lay—always drifting back to Charlene.
Whenever Charlene finished chatting with Stewart and moved on, Thorne’s eyes would search the crowd for her again and again.
Charlene herself, meanwhile, was entirely focused on helping Stewart greet the guests. She didn’t notice Thorne watching her, not even once.
Dalton, on the other hand, felt a surge of anger rise up inside him as he watched all this unfold.
When Thorne finally drew his eyes away, he turned his head and locked eyes with Dalton. Thorne offered a polite nod and a friendly smile.
Dalton’s expression darkened, and the people around him immediately noticed. “Dalton, is something wrong?” one of them asked.
He took a breath and forced himself to calm down, pushing the heat of his anger back down. “It’s nothing,” he replied.
Thorne, for his part, nodded in return. He wanted to speak up for Vesta, to defend her, but he knew he wasn’t in any position to do so.
So even though he felt sorry for Vesta, all he could do was keep quiet, just as he always did whenever he saw something between Thorne and Charlene that didn’t sit right with him.
But if Thorne ever crossed a line—
Dalton’s jaw tightened as he glanced at Vesta.
At that moment, Vesta was still smiling, as if she hadn’t noticed anything unusual about Thorne’s behavior.
But that was impossible.
Vesta paid more attention to Thorne and Charlene than anyone else—more even than Dalton did. She saw every glance, every subtle gesture, more clearly than anyone.
“…Okay.”
They made their way across the room. Charlene and Stewart were in the middle of a lively conversation with Mr. Sullivan and Hickey, along with several other influential guests.
Vesta had attended events like these countless times with Thorne. She was no stranger to standing among the city’s elite. But in all those years, she’d never truly been part of their circle. After the initial greetings, she was always on the sidelines, never really included in their conversations—let alone the center of attention.
But now, as she followed Thorne over, she saw Charlene chatting easily with Mr. Sullivan and Hickey. The admiration in Mr. Sullivan’s eyes was unmistakable, and Hickey—Starfall’s city secretary—looked at Charlene with genuine fondness, as if she were a promising young protégé.
Watching this, Vesta was struck by the realization that Charlene now stood as an equal among these powerful men. She wasn’t a silent accessory to someone else’s presence—she belonged here.
Half of PrimeStar was Charlene’s, after all.
With her current status, Charlene might not quite be on the same level as Mr. Sullivan and Hickey, but she had enough clout to sit at their table and talk real business with them. She had earned her place.

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
Thanks PINKK889 for the info. The same version is also on You tube except dubbed in English and titled “ I divorced my husband who cheated now begging me to come back” Enjoy...
Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
