Chapter 47
“What most don’t know is that Daddy dearest left Emilia because he couldn’t stand the sight of her. The best part, is Andrew Collins is her half-brother!” ~
The room was silent, a few wolves glancing between me and Andrew with mixed looks. Some confusion, some disgust, some plain outright anger. They knew Andrews’s mother was his mate, so that made me a bastard. Of course. “But I got a little file from the counselor’s office-” “No!” I shouted, moving from whatever spell I was in.
I began walking faster to her as she flipped open the file, a malicious grin spreading across her face. “Oh let’s take a look, manic depression, anger problems, oh, here it is! Started self-harming at, what age is this, oh yes, 10 years old! Isn’t that a little you Emilia?” Someone changed the photo to one of me when I was ten, the occasional school photo the yearbook committee had shot. My dark hair stood out against my pale skin, my skin tight across my bones. That year had been especially hard, I was constantly having to

steal food to just stay alive.
“Paige,” I heard Wesley bark at her in his Alpha tone, but she just continued to carry on, grinning wildly as she flipped through the pages. “Here it is here it is, on your twelfth birthday, on Christmas Eve no doubt! You slit your wrists, too bad you didn’t go through with it.” She mumbled, earning a roar from Wesley as he stood up and began stalking her, his eyes wild and dark as night.
“Wait wait! The crowning glory! ‘Signs of physical and mental abuse!’ Come on guys, do we really want a Luna like that?” She sneered at me, her eyes flashing a glint I had never seen in them before. “Your pathetic, you’ll never be a good Luna, never be a good
girlfriend, so just go give yourself to the Rogues and let them rip you to shreds.”
A few wolves murmured while the humans just looked confused, while I just stood there. Everyone’s eyes were on me, my eyes squeezing shut against my will. I tried to breathe, tried to get air into my lungs, but I simply couldn’t. I opened my eyes and took a step back, dropping everything in my hands. It was like a

pin dropping, the only noise throughout the entire silent cafeteria. Paige stood on the stage grinning while Wesley was trying to control his wolf. I looked at both him and Andrew, my eyes flashing white as Alicia desperately wanted to come out and throttle her. “I’m sorry.” It was barely a whisper, but my heart still broke. So I did what any coward would do I ran. I bolted from the cafeteria and out into the forest, shifting as soon as I hit the tree line. My silver wolf glinted a giant of the sun as I ran, my paws hitting the soft dirt.
I heard them behind me, but my muscles pushed me until I ran off of the boundary, and made my way deeper into the forest. I shifted and used my powers to dress myself, hiding my scent as well as my tracks. I climbed a weeping willow before settling down into the center, my eyes squeezing shut as every single thought came back to me. Every word, sentence, syllable, everything came crashing through my ears. I spent the night in the weeping willow, doing some weeping myself.
I sat in the cafeteria, waiting for the love of my life to get her food and coke sit with me and Andrew. I saw her from across the room, her heavenly scent wafting

along the air from the a.c. Sweet Vanilla and bitter Coffee. Such a strange combination but it worked so effortlessly for her. Her black hair tumbled down her back in beautiful curls, her green eyes able to see straight through me from any distance. She was so beautiful, and the best part is, she is all mine. ‘Mine
too asshole.’
I rolled my eyes at my wolf, grinning as Emilia began to walk towards me. That’s when the lights shut off, my body immediately goes into Alpha mode. The projector lit up, a photo of my love with her name under it lit upon the screen, my eyebrows furrowing as I cast glances at Andrew and James beside me. “We all know Emilia Marsh, correct?” I looked up to Paige standing with a microphone in her hand, my jaw clenching as I tried to control the urge to slaughter her right here and then. ‘Kill her kill her KILL HER.’
