I walked through the open front door to see bodies everywhere, both in wolf and human form. There was still some fighting, no one noticing the way I

practically collapsed when I hit fresh air. I wasn’t sure how long I’d been down there, I thought three days, but when he came back down he had a lot more stubble than before. I didn’t see anyone I knew. I saw pack members, but they were just faces right now.

I was looking for my family, my love, someone that could help get me the fuck out of here. I didn’t care about not being weak anymore, I was tired and in desperate need of a fucking shower. And probably some stitches. And a drink. But I digress. I dodged as many fighting wolves as I could before one of the other packs wolves pounced on me. I had no idea who this guy was, he wasn’t from our pack and he wasn’t from Jarred’s pack. He was large, with red fur and dark eyes. He radiated as a Beta or Delta, or maybe he was a top warrior.

couldn’t shift yet, so I had to do the only thing I could think of. I took his ear in my fingers and tugged on it, punching him in his snout when he gnashed at my hand. “Shift.” I growled to him, my eyes flashing silver. He started growling and biting at me again, but I punching him again in his snout before decking him straight in his throat. He choked on the air as I growled again, getting closer to look straight into his eyes. “Submit and fucking shift!” He wasn’t much older than me, with dark hair and dark eyes.

He growled in his human form, blood leaking out of his nose that I had punched repeatedly. I still had his ear within my grasp, my nails pinching it every time he got closer to me or tried mindlinking anyone. “What pack are you from and why the fuck are you here?” Regardless of where he’s from, I still had a higher rank than him. He subtly barred his neck to me, my eyes gleaming in satisfaction. “Lupis Eclipse, I’m the Gamma. Alpha Wesley requested our help in taking out this pack and retrieving his mate.”

My heart swelled at the fucking idiot I loved, I missed him more than I could bare to think of. “I’m his mate, where the fuck is he?!” His eyes widened as I released

his ear, his hand rubbing it to try and ease some of the pain. “You’re his mate? Jesus you look like you got dragged through hell and back.” I rolled my eyes as I growled again, punching him forcefully in his chest. “I did, now tell me where the fuck Wesley is!”

I growled as I slammed the phone down in my office, my wolf completely on edge. I couldn’t blame him, we lost the feeling of Emilias wolf close to a week ago. She had been gone for almost a week and a half, my heart still hurt the day Philip can in here and told us she linked him because our walls were up. I’ve never been so mad at myself before, my wolf was even mad at himself, and my wolves an arrogant bastard. ‘You are to pretty boy!

I rolled my eyes at his childish antics, racing down the stairs to go outside. I was to meet the Alpha of the Lupis Eclipse pack and their fighters, one of our neighboring packs, to help take down Jarred’s pack and get Emilia back.

I shifted when I hit the trees, immediately sensing Andrew and James behind me. Philip was standing with the warriors already, he had taken up training them with my lead warrior. I tried suppressing my wolves rage as we got closer to the border, but that seemed to anger him even more. I nodded my head to the Alpha of the Lupis Eclipse pack when I saw him, his warriors behind him while his Beta and Delta stood to

the side. He was in his human form, his dark hair and dark eyes greeting me.

“You sure about this Wesley?” I had known Travis since I was young, a long alliance between our fathers causing us to grow up friends. I growled in response, baring my teeth. He gave me a soft smile and turned back to his warriors, giving them a nod before we began to make our way to the border. “I want to meet this girl when all of this is over, my children will love to have a new aunt.” I gave him a wolf grin, stepping over the border.

As soon as my paw hit the soil a siren blared out, alerting the pack to intruders. All of us shifted as we ran, the smell of Emilia hitting me just as we got to the pack house. It smelt old and faint, but picked up the

closer we got to the front door. Just as I reached the door I was flung back with a force of air, my back hitting a tree. I groaned as something snapped, my eyes darting open to meet dark brown eyes of Emilias mom. I jumped on her, growling as she used her powers to stop the surge of air through me.
