Elinor said so as if she forgot the past. Her casual tone showed she didn't care about her previous memories anymore.
But Kemp felt more suspicious.
If she really forgets him, why she always mentions him.
Does she want her own confirmation or others'?
He kept silent for a while, then went to take a tin of juice from the refrigerator and threw it to Elinor. "Don't talk bullshit. Go to bed early. By the way, so you have any plans after you go home?"
"Plans?"
She seriously thought about it. "Go to Dad's company first. Does he have any business trips abroad these days?"
"Dad will go abroad the day after tomorrow. You can find him tomorrow and let him take you to the company." He unscrewed the faucet of the bathtub for her, as he said to her. "Come and try the water temperature."
"You're so sweet!"
She muttered and walked into the bathroom. "You turned considerate after I went abroad."
He pretended to be livid. "I helped you, but you sneered at me."
"I'm wrong, my sweet boy."
She grabbed him. "Well, don't be angry. Really, your temper is getting worse and worse..."
"You just said I was sweet. Now you said I was bad-tempered." He turned back and flickered her forehead. "Your thoughts changed so fast."
Elinor didn't retort. Kemp went out. When he saw her feel the temperature, he said outside. "Tell me after you finish. I'll be after you."
"Fine." She began to pour milk into the bathtub, which she was used to. Kemp went upstairs and then sent a message to Rankin.
On the next day after Elinor woke up, she went to find her father. Quincy went back drunk last night after he drank with his good friends, and he hasn't gotten up yet. Elinor knocked on the door, but nobody answered.
She sighed and walked back, just meeting Kemp who went downstairs. She said, "Why did you get up so early?"
"I heard your voice."
He rubbed his eyes. Elinor smiled. "By the way, you haven't had a holiday yet, have you?"
He nodded. "Yes, I have taken some days off in advance. Later, I need to go back to study."
"You haven't graduated from high school yet..." She curled her lips with ill intentions and narrowed her eyes. She was so charming, but she can't realize it herself. "But I have finished my college lessons."
"It's the last year of my high school!"
He blushed and roared angrily, "Don't gloat. You're just two years older."
