When they entered the house, Elinor quietly pushed open the door. Dixon and Sonia received the message in advance and were waiting for them. Sonia laughed gently, "Elly, You are here."
"Uncle, Aunt." Elinor felt moved. "Sorry, After I came back, I was too busy to visit you earlier."
"It doesn't matter." Sonia waved at her. "You're like my daughter. Don't be so polite. Uncle Dixon and I traveled before and bought you a gift. You take them home when you leave."
"Well." Elinor's eyes flashed with light. "Thank you very much."
Dixon looked at Quincy, with his arms in his chest. "Hum, why you also come here?"
Quincy was pissed off. "Why can't I come?"
"Where's your son?"
"He had a stomachache before, so he stayed home."
Dixon scolded with a smile. "Holy god, the young were in a bad health."
"Worse than you. At least, you survived so many operations." Quincy touched Dixon's fist with his. "Why haven't you fallen asleep?"
"Victor said you would come, so we cater you."
"Huh?"
Quincy stared. "But he told me that you wanted to see Elinor."
"What the hell?" In surprise, Dixon looked back at the cold face of his son, got his meaning and said, "Yeah, yeah, I want to meet Elinor."
Shit, he knew his son.
Victor blinked at Dixon, and Dixon glared at him.
They looked at each other, conveying their thoughts through their eyes.
Skunk, you can't hide from me!
Dixon got surprised. "Who's Rutledge?"
"Elinor's ex-boyfriend."
Dixon froze. After he figured out his meaning, he grabbed Victor by the collar. "Are you crazy? If you do immoral events, I'll whip you."
Victor's pupils were dark.
"Don't forget that you still have Darleen." Dixon suddenly loosened him. "Son, you think clearly."
Victor just kept silent, his look oppressive. Dixon thought his son turned more and more unruly—how can he control Victor in the future?
Elinor suddenly felt gloomy and cold eyes fixed on her back. But when she turned around, she just saw Victor stand in the kitchen, doing nothing.
Is it an illusion?
