After Chad left, Victor's face changed, with gloomy and malicious emotions in his eyes.
He looked at the report about Elinor's news for a few seconds, various thoughts flashing in his mind.
Should he let go of Elinor?
He sneered, clenching his slender fingers, as if squeezing someone's throat. He crumpled the paper and grabbed the ball in his palm.
He was like an expressionless killer.
After a long moment, He went down to dial a number.
"Hello, this is Victor. How about the seven deadly sins?"
When Quincy went home, he saw his two kids play chess calmly and seriously in the living room. He felt a little surprised. "What happened to you two?"
Elinor and Kemp stared and then greeted simultaneously, "Dad, you're back."
"You two even didn't fight or bicker."
He stood at the door with a briefcase, not knowing what expression to show. Finally, he smiled helplessly. "I am still a little surprised."
"Come on. Are we so naughty in your eyes?"
Kemp pretended to be unhappy, "Your birthday is around the corner. We are discussing how to hold a party for you."
"Are you going to celebrate my birthday?"
Quincy changed his shoes, entered the house, put down his briefcase, and then walked to their chessboard. "Hey, Kemp wins this chess game?"
"Yes." Elinor frankly admitted, "I concede defeat. Kemp's so smart, which surprises me."
He seriously thought about it, "Dixon, Babur, Lenard, Lamont and Marcus..."
They several friends once experienced trouble together.
"Well." She said, "Kemp and I will invite them, by the way..."
She blinked at him with a smile. "Aunt Sonia, right?"
Quincy flushed and lowered his voice. "Don't say so in front of Dixon."
Meanwhile, he made an action of cutting his neck. "Otherwise, I'll be killed by Dixon."
A week later, Quincy's birthday party was held as scheduled, and his friends came back from all over the world to attend it.
In the dark, someone showed a smile. "The seven deadly sins reunite again..."
