After saying this, he turned livid. His cold face showed his bad mood. If Elinor continued to provoke him, she might be driven away by him from the hotel.
She perceived his unfriendly attitude, so she stood up and began to pack her bag. He squinted at her action and sneered, "You should leave earlier. Being driven now was embarrassing."
She just recalled that she had a friend here, so she robbed the room with him at the beginning.
But she didn't defend herself and went out after packed her bag. Before she left, he stared at her back. "Don't forget the meeting in two days."
"I won't."
She paused with her luggage.
He was unhappy to see such a response and deliberately added, "You may be happy after you go to his house and forget our business."
"I won't forget it."
She finally can't endure his tone and took a look at him. "I gotta go."
He clenched his fingers.
She bent down. "Besides, thank you for taking me in this night."
Then she left the room. There was no trace about her left.
The room fell into horrible silence at this moment. He stared and felt his racing heart.
He jeered at her relentlessly and cruelly with sharp words, but she said 'Thank you' to him.
"No, my sister said she missed you very much. When she heard that you were coming, she stayed up all night with excitement."
As soon as he finished, a small girl with short hair jumped out and hugged Elinor. "Elly, I miss you so much. You didn't tell me in advance you'll come here. We'll live here for a month, and we might have picked you up if you told me."
"I don't wanna bother you." Elinor smiled. "Long time no see, Romula."
"I'm glad that you still remember me." She led Elinor in. "I was pissed off after my brother broke up with you. I scolded him for he didn't cherish you."
"Don't mention this unhappy matter."
Rutledge scolded her from behind. "You don't have to remind me of our breakup all the time."
