Jacob appeared outside Serena’s company again. Having learned his lesson, he didn’t barge in this time, but lurked around, furtively watching the
Ever since Serena rejected him last time, she had been going out of her way to avoid him.
Erika sashayed over, swaying her hips, and with a sly smile said, “Mr. Banks, what brings you here?”
Jacob jumped in surprise and spun around. “You again? Get lost.” He was already agitated, and seeing Erika only made matters worse.
Erika smirked, “What’s wrong? Afraid ruin your little scheme?”
“Erika, I’m telling you. Stay the hell away from me,” Jacobs warned.
“Don’t be so cruel, darling. My feelings for you are genuine,” Erika explained
Jacob grabbed her wrist and flung her aside. He snapped, “Get lost.”
Erika stumbled back a few steps, almost losing her balance. Instead of getting angry, she sidled up to Jacob, lowered her voice conspiratorially, and said, “Mr. Banks, I know you want Serena.”
Jacob sneered, “What’s it to you?”
“I can help you have her,” Erika offered.
Jacob froze. “What do you mean?”
Erika whispered something in Jacob’s ear. His expression shifted from confusion to surprise, and finally, a sly smile appeared.
“Alright, Erika, I didn’t expect this from you. I’ll be waiting for your good news.” With that, Jacob gave her a satisfied pat on the shoulder and walked away, looking quite pleased.
Erika watched Jacob walk away, a sinister smirk playing at the comers of her lips.
Back at the office, Erika strode straight over to Daisy’s desk. “Daisy, come with me,” she commanded, then turned on her heel and marched into the
restroom without waiting for a response.
Daisy looked up and saw the malicious grin on Erika’s face. A chill ran down her spine, but she still trailed after her obediently, unable to refuse

“Huh? Wh–what did you just say?” Daisy was stunned.
“Are you deaf or just stupid? I told you to drug Serena Erika snapped.
Daisy shook her head, trying desperately to maintain her composure.
“Cut the act. Want to get fired or what?” Erika closed in on Daisy, her voice dripping with malice. Erika smirked and said, “Play ale and you’ll be well rewarded.”
“I really can’t do this, Daisy hesitated.
“Can’t do it? Then you should know the company has no place for dead weight like you,” Erika sneered.
Daisy clenched her fists, her face pale as she forced herself to speak. “Ms. Gray has always been kind to me. I can’t hurt her.”
