Wall Around Her Heart novel Chapter 3

I woke up and dressed before going downstairs. I ate breakfast then washed the dishes, dried them, and put them away. I grabbed my car keys and folder from the table by the door and placed my purse over my shoulder before walking out the door and locking it. As I walked over to my car, I heard the rumble of bikes coming down the road.

I watched as they rode by, and he looked at me. He makes my breath catch whenever I see him. I got into my car, backed out of my driveway. I drove to the nursing home, found a place to park, got out and walked inside. I walked over to the reception window. I explained that I wanted to fill out an application for the nursing assistant position.

The woman handed me an application and said, "please complete this and I will find out if Linnie is available to interview you today." I handed her the application and she asked me to follow her. I walked into the office of the director and sat down. After the interview, I accept the second shift position and I start Monday. I can wear any color uniform but white.

I was excited to be working again. It will take up my time and keep me busy. Since I don't have family, a husband, or kids, I will work overtime. I walked out of the nursing home and decided to go to Walmart and buy some uniforms and walked across the street to walk around the festival the town was having.

I saw several different booths that sold nice items. I walked to a booth selling cute dresses and was holding a green one up looking at it when I heard a voice. You would look beautiful in the color. I turned and looked up at a man wearing a cut and swallowed. I shyly said. Thank you. I like green too. I paid for the dress and took the bag the man handed me.

As I walked away, I noticed the biker watching me. I heard a band start playing so I walked toward the music. I love oldies. I bought a beer and sat down on a bench to listen to music for a while. Elizabeth asked me what I was looking at? The new woman in town I said. She is sitting over on that bench. We all soon walked over and sat down in the grass to listen to the music.

Then she shook her head and said, Tammy was healthier than that girl, and she had brown hair and wears glasses. But that can't be her. Doc, who is a woman sat down. She came to see me about a month ago. She was covered in bruises. I removed 400 stitches from her back. I also removed staples from her right thigh and now she has a scar that runs from her lower hip to above her knee.

Someone beat that girl, and took a knife cutting her leg. I noticed she shook when my male nurse walked into the room. I had to ask him to leave and send Becky in to help me. As we rode back to the clubhouse, I noticed that a light was on in her bedroom. I sat down and looked at Steve. We should do some investigating on her. Make sure she is not going to bothered.
