Wall Around Her Heart novel Chapter 42

Today we are traveling to the Packhouse. I called dad and let him know we were leaving the clubhouse, and that the moving truck should be arriving at the Packhouse anytime. I asked him to put, Tammy and, Rebel in the room next to mine, and Donna in, Legends old room.

Dad, stated that they will be waiting when we arrive in the territory. He will be waiting at the cemetery with the pack members. I told him, I would mine link him. He said 10 warriors will lead the way.

How is, Tammy holding up? Much better now that I am sleeping on the couch in her bedroom. Good. You need to be there for her. I know, dad.

It will be all right, son. Tammy, will soon be yours. The bond will grow. How long will it take before you arrive? Two hours. See, you when you get here. I closed the mind link and walked back to, Tammy's room.

I opened the door and asked, Tammy if she was ready. I looked over at, Wolf. I walked over and hugged him. I am not ready to bury, Legend, Wolf.

I know, Tammy. Neither am I. But we have to do it. I know. Lets do this. I held her hand as she looked around the room, she shared with, Legend for four years. I will miss this room. But, I will make new memories at the Packhouse.

I lifted her chin. We will make new memories. I looked into his eyes. We will. I started down the hall with, Tammy as the members stood on each side. As we walked passed them, they saluted, Tammy.

We approached the coffin, and Horse. Tammy looked at the coffin and smiled. I do believe that, Legend is going to meet his moon goddess in royal style.

The members clapped their hands, happy that, Tammy loved this coffin. Legend, would have said. "I feel like a king." Thank you, all for this tribute to, Legend. It is beautiful.

Horse, hugged, Tammy. Lets take, Legend for his last ride. Lets do this. Wolf lifted me onto the back of his bike. He sat down, and Horse whistled.

Everyone started their bikes, and revved up their engines. They all drove out of the compound, onto the street and headed to I-75. I wrapped my arms around, Wolf. I thought of all times, I had done this to Legend.

two hours later, we hit Kentucky. I mine linked dad that we were entering his territory. Horse pulled up to the closed gates. The warriors, opened the gates, Horse followed two cars.

As, Legends coffin went by the Warriors, they bowed their heads in respect of the loss of their next Alpha. Soon, Horse stopped his bike and so did, Wolf.

Just then a young woman pushed a bassinet to the table. Thank you, I said looking at her. No problem, Luna Tammy. I handed, Rebel to her and she lay her in the bassinet. We all finished eating, and stood around talking for about two hours.

Horse, walked over and hugged me. You best come and visit, so we all can see you and Rebel. We will, Uncle Horse. He loved you, Tammy. I loved him. He was the happiest I have seen him in years.

We walked outside, and mom and dad hugged me. They held, Rebel and kissed her before giving her back to me. You will be happy again, Tammy. I know it, mom said.

We waved goodbye to them as they started their bikes and drove out of the long driveway. We turned and walked back inside. Wolf held my hand and we walked down the hallway to the family living room.

Donna, was behind me. As we walked in, I saw a good looking man standing next to the fire place. As, Donna walked in and sat down I thought I heard, mate.

Tammy, Donna, I want you to meet my Beta, Mike. Mike. Hello, Luna Tammy, Donna. Hello, Mike. Donna, leaned over and whispered, he is so good looking. Why did I get tingles up my arm when, he shook my hand? I will tell you later.
