When Her Death Couldn't Break Him (Cecilia and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 2101

"Okay," Jonathan answered obediently.

Yawning, he started waking up the other three children.

Lucas and Gabriel quickly got up, but Elliot refused to wake up. "Jon, I want to sleep a little longer. Go back by yourself first. I want to hug Mommy to sleep," he whined.

Cecilia couldn't help but smile at that scene.

"Okay, okay, you all can rest here for a bit," she said, reluctant to part with the children. She felt especially happy when she was with them.

Nathaniel, however, said impatiently, "Hurry up and go."

Hearing Nathaniel's irritated voice, Elliot scrambled up from the floor in an instant.

"Let's go, let's go," he said to his siblings while straightening out the wrinkles on his clothes. It turned out he had been awake the whole time, pretending to be asleep just to avoid leaving.

Cecilia watched the four boys leave in resignation and complained to Nathaniel, "What's wrong with you? Why did you chase them all away?"

Nathaniel walked over to her and hugged her tightly. "We won't have space for ourselves if they don't leave."

Cecilia didn't know what to say in response.

Nathaniel tightened the hug. "Ceci, when will we—"

Cecilia cut him off before he could finish his sentence. "How about we go home today and head to Drocver tomorrow?"

"So soon? Didn't we agree on the day after tomorrow?" Nathaniel asked.

"Eric said he happens to be available tomorrow. I haven't seen him in a long time," Cecilia replied.

If Cecilia hadn't mentioned it, Nathaniel would have almost forgotten about that person.
