Chapter 48
Leon was practicing with a spear. His tall frame moved like a tiger–steady as a mountain at first glance, but in the net instant, as fast as lightning, At first, the silver spear in his hands seemed powerful and forceful, but upon closer look, it was as if the spear had become a fiery tiger- whooch, whoosh, whoosh! it slided through the abs, aiming straight for the enemy’s heart.
With a loud clang. The silver spear struck the tree trunk. The century–old tree shook violently, its leaves falling in a flurry
Jessica’s heart skipped a beat as she saw it clearly. This strike was incredible, it was far more complex than it seemed at first glance.
Beside her, Garbisch’s eyes lit up. He quickly walked forward, saying, “Yates family spear techniquel”
He thought. ‘Prince Leon, how does he know their Yates family’s technique? Who taught him?‘
Leon raised his arm, pulling the spear back and turning to face the two of them.
Garbisch, still excited, couldn’t contain his enthusiasm. “What an impressive spear techniquel But…
“General Caesar gave me a few pointers some time ago, Leon said casually.
Garbisch finally snapped out of his daze, quickly straightened up, and bowed, “Your Highness.”
“There’s no need for formalities here. General Garbisch, would you like to try my spear technique?” Leon asked, a mysterious smile flickering in his eyes.
Garbisch hesitated.
But Jessica spoke up. “My brother is no match for Your Highness, Your spear technique isn’t the Yates family’s. I wonder, who created this technique?”
Leon’s gaze turned dark as it settled on her, a slight smile playing at the corner of his lips. “Ms. Yates understands spear techniques too?”
“My father, brothers, and uncles all practice the spear. I’ve seen them ofter, so I’ve picked up a thing or two.”
“But Jessica, this is clearly the Yates family’s technique,” Garbisch said, thinking, “The movements may seem slow, but they’re actually as fast as lightning, as heavy as a mountain! This is definitely our rates family’s spear technique!”
“Garbisch, His Highness’s technique isn’t the Yates family’s”
Jessica walked slowly over to the century–old tree, gently placing her hand on the trunk. The warmth from the strike still lingered.
Garbisch, however, suddenly seemed to notice something significant. He stepped forward, touched the spot where Leon’s spear had pierced the tree, and stared, wide–eyed.
Why… is it completely unharmed?”
That strike from Prince Leon’s spear had clearly pierced the tree.
The tree was so thick, it would take two people to wrap their arms around it. The spear had caused it to shake violently, with leaves falling everywhere. It would have taken tremendous strength to create such an effect.
Yet, Garbisch thought, ‘There isn’t a single mark on the tree. How is that possible?”
Jessica’s words
Garbisch
gave him the answer, “His Highness’s internal strength is the most powerful I’ve ever seen. I truly admire it
thought, ‘So it is all due to his internal strength
Garbisch was immediately filled with admiration. Such deep internal strength–no matter how much he practiced, he could never achieve this in his Gletime.

Prince Loan was still so young, barely the same age as him. He wondered, How has
short of astonishingl
“So, His Highness’s spear technique..
“When I was younger, General Caesar gave me some guidance. Later, when I had some fine time, I added my own ideas and created my own technique. does resemble the Yetes family’s speal technique, but with some differences.”
“you created it yourself?” Even Jessica was stunned.
To create such a powerful spear technique, it would take decades of training. She thought, ‘How could someone so young manage it?”
But Prince Leon was only twenty–three–just the same age as Garisch. To achieve so much at such a young age was truly eye–opening.
“Jessica, Ireally admire it!” She cupped her hands in genuine respect
Leon looked at her, his eyes still carrying that subtle, enigmatic smile, almost unreadable.
Then, his gaze shifted, and he turned to look at Garbisch, “General Garbisch, would you like to spar?”
