**Chapter 13**
As dawn broke, a soft light filtered through the hospital window, yet Audrey remained in a restless slumber. The air was thick with tension, and Chloe, sitting in the waiting area, felt the weight of her anxiety pressing down on her. She had insisted that Liam go in alone to see their mother, a decision that now felt like a heavy stone in her stomach.
Time crawled by, and after what felt like an eternity, Liam emerged from the ward. His expression was grim, and Chloe’s heart raced, a mix of dread and anticipation flooding her senses.
“Dad, how is mom?” she asked, her voice trembling as she sought reassurance.
But Liam’s response was like ice. His face was ashen, and when his cold gaze met hers, it sent a shiver down her spine.
“Don’t call me that,” he shot back, his tone laced with contempt, each word a sharp blade. “Do you think we’re fools?”
Chloe had witnessed Liam’s fury before, but this was different. The anger radiated from him like a storm, and it made her instinctively recoil. The confidence she had clung to during her earlier confrontation with Audrey crumbled in an instant, and her eyes brimmed with tears, betraying her vulnerability.
Alpha Liam was a man of his word, and when he spoke, his declarations were absolute.
“It’s not like that,” Chloe attempted to reason, her voice barely a whisper. “I truly care about both you and mom.”
But her words fell flat, swallowed by the chasm of his disdain.
“We’ve shared a home for so long, and now I intend to ensure you leave with some semblance of dignity,” he stated coldly, each syllable deliberate and unyielding. “From this moment forward, you are no longer a member of the Bloodmoon Pack, and you are no longer our daughter.”
His expression was a mask of indifference, and deep down, Chloe understood he meant every word.
As despair settled in her chest, she felt the tears spill over, cascading down her cheeks. In her childhood, her tears would have softened her parents’ hearts, but now… now it was as if they had turned to stone.
“Dad, how can you do this to me?” she cried, her voice cracking under the weight of panic that surged through her.
The thought of leaving her home, her pack, filled her with an overwhelming dread. For years, she had basked in the security of Tessa’s hidden identity, enjoying a life of comfort and privilege. The mere idea of losing everything was unbearable.
What she failed to grasp was that the Liam who once lavished her with affection now harbored nothing but contempt. The love he had once showered upon her had been extinguished, replaced by a cold indifference that made her feel invisible.
“Don’t ever let me see you again,” he commanded, his voice unyielding, leaving no room for argument.

Barely ten minutes had passed when the news of Chloe’s expulsion from the pack spread like wildfire.
Alpha Liam convened a pack meeting, his voice echoing through the hall as he declared that Chloe was no longer a member of the Bloodmoon Pack—she was now a rogue.
He had publicly branded her with shame, and the whispers of her deceit echoed in every corner.
