Wild Nights With My Brother’s Ex-Best Friend novel Chapter 25

NICOLE

Roman’s speeding down the road, one hand on the steering wheel and the other on my thigh. I’m pretty sure my new white lace panties are already damp.

“You’re really not going to tell me where you’re taking me?”

Roman gives me a look that turns my nipples to pebbles. “Not unless I want to ruin the surprise, which I don’t.”

My heart is beating impossibly fast. I know he has something wicked planned. I can just sense it. Am I going to like it? Probably. There’s very little that he does that truly displeases me.

It’s like he and I are on the same wavelength all the time.

When we were younger, I didn’t realize how alike we were. God, if that hopelessly in love teen version of me could see me now, she’d freak out.

Roman parks his car across the street from a normal-looking thick building sandwiched between a bakery and a boutique. I don’t see any signs on it whatsoever and as we move closer to it, my hand in his, I can’t help but ask, “Um. What’s this place?”

“You’ll see.”

His response sends shivers down my spine, but it doesn’t once occur to me that it could be something dangerous. I trust Roman blindly-I don’t believe he’d ever hurt me.

“There’s nothing here,” I remark as we approach the entrance. It consists of a pair of rusty metal doors. The whole place looks abandoned.

Roman pounds his fist against the door, and moments later, it opens. I’m shocked to see a man in a black suit standing there, wearing dark sunglasses indoors.

“Name?” he asks curtly.

“Roman Hayes.”

He checks something on his iPad, then nods for us to enter. We walk down a dimly lit, carpeted corridor that has nothing to do with the outside. On a wall across from us is a sign that says Inferna. I’m guessing it’s the name of this place.

“Is this a club? A bar?”

My question is answered when we walk around the corner and step into the main area, or what I assume is the main area. My jaw hits the floor and the gasp that leaves my lips is loud and gives away exactly how I feel.

Roman gives my hand a squeeze. “Stay with me, Nikki.”

“What the fuck is this place?” I ask before my eyes return to his smug face. He looks a little too pleased about this. “Roman. What the hell?”

Is this place…a sex club?

“I thought you could do with an eye-opening experience like this,” he claims before tugging at my hand. I dig my heels into the floor and he gives me a confused look. I refuse to take my eyes away from his face.

“Roman, this…I’m not into this.”

“You ever been to a place like this?”

“No, but-”

“Then you don’t know whether or not you’re into this.” He gives my arm a sharp tug and I crash into him. “Come on, Nikki. You’re better than this. I know you.”

“Don’t try to shame me,” I say almost angrily. The music playing in the background isn’t enough to drown out the sound of Moana coming from all over the place. There are people literally fucking all around us. I didn’t look for too long. As soon as I saw moving naked bodies, I knew I was in the wrong place. “I want to go home.”

Roman inches closer to me and whispers in my ear, “You’re damn mistaken if you think I’m taking you home.”

I close my eyes and a wave of shame washes over me. What am I doing here? I’m not this kind of girl at all. I don’t enjoy these things. Hell, I don’t even enjoy strip clubs.

“Roman.”

“Just take a look around,” he insists. “You’re telling me you’ve never looked at porn?”

My cheeks are as red as tomatoes. “That’s different.”

“Nope. You’re just not seeing it through a screen here.” His arms tighten around me. “I want you to watch and get so turned on that you beg me to fuck you, Nikki. And then, I’ll take you in one of the private rooms in the back, so hard you’ll beg me to stop.”

“Never,” I say before I can stop myself.

We both snap our heads in the direction of the voice, and for a moment, I panic, but then I realize that it’s a man I’ve never met before.

I’m also wearing a mask.

“Blaine,” Roman says before shaking his hand. For a moment, I’m stuck between them, unsure of how to move or what to do. Roman doesn’t introduce me. “I haven’t seen you in a while.”

“Well, you’ve disappeared. You’re a shit friend, you know that?”

Roman chuckles. “I’ve been keeping busy.”

“I see,” the man named Blaine says before his eyes go to me. He doesn’t look for long, though. “Putting on a show tonight?”

“Nope. Not tonight.”

Blaine shakes his head. “Alright. I’ll see you at that thing, right? You’re…” He frowns before glancing at his watch. “You’re gonna be there, right? I mean it’s-”

“Yeah,” Roman says dismissively, cutting him off. “I will. I’ll see you there.”

We move on to the next glass room, where it’s a couple this time around. He’s eating her out. I squeeze my thighs together and Roman chuckles.

“That’s my girl,” he practically purrs. “Having fun?”

“I don’t know,” I lie. I’m getting too turned on by all this.

“We’ll get some privacy after we’re done seeing all there is to see,” he promises before taking me to the next room. We’re offered champagne and keep walking around.

The more I watch, the more turned on I get.

This man is determined to change everything I know about myself. How many more pieces of myself am I going to lose before he’s through with me?
