ROMAN
After leaving Nikki in her new place, I have business to attend to. I hate having to leave her—I wish I could spend the whole night with her, holding her close to me and making her scream my name. Fuck, it’s music to my ears. I get off on it each and every time without fail.
Nikki…she’s the sexiest woman I’ve ever met.
There’s no one like her. And there’ll never be anyone like her.
get in my car and, once again, make sure to look around to see if anyone’s been tailing me. I’m observant enough to notice such things, and even though I don’t want to, I’m worried.
I already warned Carmen of what would happen to her if she ever decides to lay a hand on Nikki, but she’s fucking crazy and I won’t take my chances. The bodyguards I hired te keep an eye on her are the only ones I spot. Good.
I don’t want her to know. I know she’ll go on about it and this matter isn’t up for debate. It’s my job to keep her safe, and that’s what I’ll do until my last breath.
They nod at me as I drive past, and I push my worries aside. For now. She’s in good hands.
Now, I have to deal with the fuck who opened his mouthto Carmen about me being in Nassau with Nikki.
Oh, Malcolm will pay for what he did.
All day, l’ve been thinking about what I’ll do to him. How I’ll break him apart. Usually, I’d have someone do the job for me. An obscure deal in a dark club somewhere. Or I’d get my lawyer to deal with this for me.
But it’ll be my pleasure to bring that fuck to his knees.
I’m tingling all over just at the fucking thought of it.
I check the time on my watch. If my secretary’s correct, Malcolm leaves his office at around seven each evening, and most of the time, he’s never alone. But today, I’ve had that building watched like a hawk, and his lover isn’t there with him.
It’ll be the perfect opportunity to slip in unnoticed and do what I have to do.
I park my car on the other side of the road and put on my black hoodie and a pair of sunglasses. I chose this exact road because there aren’t cameras facing my car, even though there are multiple all along the street.
I walk casually toward his building. At this time, most of the employees are gone apart from the security guard who’s already been instructed to mind his fucking business. He’s been paid off well, not by me, but by someone | trust.
He doesn’t even look at me as I walk past him, and if hedid his job correctly, the cameras on this side of the building are off. I wore dark clothes and sunglasses so l wouldn’t be recognized.
Everything has to be done well in case he decides to go to the police-just in case. But I doubt he will, because if he does, I’ll ruin his life.
I stride into his office easily. I might just give my secretary. a raise because she was right about him still being here.
He’s a hardworking man, but maybe he should’ve shown as much diligence in his work as he did keeping his mouth open so wide that he got my life and Nikki’s fucked.
I’ll close it for him. No issues there.
I knock on the door of his office. Unlike my office, which is all glass, his is the most closed-up part of the whole space. I knock on his door, lightly, hoping to perplex him.
