Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1954
The next morning, Bonnie woke up at daybreak,
She had been having nightmares all night.
At first, the dream started with Christopher breaking all of her fingers, one at a time,
After that, she dreamt that she had suffered a miscarriage, and Jim and Christopher were standing in front of her, laughing at her as she lay in a puddle of her blood.
Christopher had told her that she was a stupid woman who refused to listen to his advice, whereas Jim sneered at her and said he would never fall in love with her.
When Bonnie jolted awake from her nightmare, her pillow was stained with tears.
She got up from the bed and went into the bathroom, where she stared at her haggard self in the mirror.
A few days ago, her heart had been full of hope and joy when she left Banyan City to find Jim.
Before she left, Harvey had even reminded her not to show her happiness so outwardly and get carried away.
“Aunty Bonnie, everyone can tell you‘re excited, and my Daddy will tease you when he sees how happy you are to see him.”
At that time, she had patted Harvey‘s head gently and retorted, “He wouldn‘t dare to tease me! He‘ll be even happier than I am to see me, so how can he possibly laugh at me for this?”
Every word she had said to Harvey echoed in her mind.
Alas…
Bonnie closed her eyes and let out a bitter chuckle.
Harvey was right. She had gotten carried away, so much so that she had forgotten how much she truly mattered to Jim.
This was why she had ended up like this.
The woman in the reflection was skinnier compared to a few days ago.
At this point, however, there was nothing but dread and sorrow when she heard the same ringtone.
She did not dare to face Harvey at all. She feared she would not be able to stop herself from crying.
She did not want Harvey to worry about her.
After ringing non–stop for a few minutes, the call ended.
Bonnie let out an exhale, but before she could even relax, the phone started ringing again.
She did not pick up the second time either.
However, soon, someone knocked on her door, accompanied by Sean‘s voice. “Ms. Bonnie, are you awake? Is your phone ringing? Wake up.”
When he heard no sound coming from inside the room, Sean could not help getting a little anxious. “Did you pass out? I’ll get someone to kick this door down right away!”
Bonnie rubbed her brows in frustration upon hearing this. No matter how reluctant she was to answer him, she still called out loudly, “I‘m fine.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
