As soon as Damon confirmed his agreement, a radiant smile spread across Erin’s face, her eyes gleaming with mischief as she prepared to unleash her mockery upon Nyla. The atmosphere around them crackled with tension, and Erin could hardly contain her excitement.

But before her words could take flight, Melody interjected with unexpected fervor. “Ms. Hulle, you’re mistaken about one thing. Nyla is not only beautiful; she is also incredibly capable.
