That dumbass, Kyle was so dense to assume that it was safe for a young lady to drink alone at a bar like that.

Suddenly, it occurred to him. Did Luna and Kyle fight? Otherwise, why would Luna be drinking alone?

As Jack was contemplating whether to greet Luna, to no surprise, two young men with ill intentions approached Luna. They spoke lewdly toward her with huge smiles on their faces, probably inviting Luna to drink with them.

From the sinister expressions on their faces, they probably had malicious intent.

Although Luna was slightly tipsy from the alcohol, she still aggressively struggled and even splashed the red wine in her hand at the young men.

"Get lost! Who do you think you are? How dare a bunch of trash like you come and flirt with me?" Despite being under the influence of alcohol, Luna was still as feisty as she usually was.

The young men became angry, and one of them tried to grab Luna. However, she grabbed a wine bottle and smashed it on the man's head. The man's head started bleeding instantly, and he lay on the ground, moaning in agony.

Luna's brute behavior petrified the other man, but soon, he displayed a sinister expression. This time, he was prepared and lunged toward her.

Luna couldn't dodge him, and he captured her. She shrieked, but the other young men at the bar only howled in excitement, enjoying the brawl. No one stopped them.

Jack knew that if he didn't do anything, Luna would be in grave danger. Even if he wasn't fond of Luna, he had to lend a helping hand.

Jack stood up and snatched the wine bottle from Luna's hand. Luna watched in terror as he smashed the bottle at the young man. The young man couldn't react in time and collapsed on the ground.

Luna was surprised to see Jack avail himself to rescue her. Her jaw dropped.

No one stood up to defend the young men. Perhaps someone wanted to, but no matter how ballsy they were, Jack's swift moves had silenced them entirely and put them in their place.

The owner of the bar did not step in to interfere either.

Men and women flirting with each other was a staple in bars, as long as it didn't get out of hand.

After the boss saw how well Jack fought, he quickly approached Jack and asked if he could perform at the bar regularly or teach him a few moves.

However, Jack rejected the boss' proposition and left the bar with Luna.
