A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 615

Jack nodded earnestly. Though he hadn't interacted much with Uriah, he didn't feel disdain toward his teacher.

Strict and reticent by nature, Uriah was the type who showed his care through actions rather than words.

When Isaac and Joshua pursued their basketball dreams and Luca chased his musical aspirations, Uriah had supported them wholeheartedly behind the scenes.

When Samuel fell into financial hardship, Uriah fought to secure him a merit-based scholarship. And when Samuel's father passed away, Uriah quietly transferred 10 thousand dollars from his modest salary into Samuel's account without ever mentioning it. Samuel only discovered the source of the money after checking his bank records.

Though Uriah had never been particularly warm toward Jack—at times even seeming dismissive—it did nothing to diminish Jack's respect for him.

By the time Jack wrapped up his affairs and returned to the dorm, it was already 4:00 pm.

Faced with eager questions from Isaac, Joshua, Samuel, and Ronnie, Jack responded with a snap of his fingers. Everything was settled.

Jack announced he was treating the entire dorm to dinner at the ultra-luxurious Imperial Grand Hotel to celebrate Genesis Games' successful IPO. Significant others were welcome. Tonight's meal was fully on him.

Isaac and Joshua immediately rallied, extending the invitation to the female students at the Fellowship Dormitory.

The group piled into cabs, buzzing with excitement as they headed for the Imperial Grand Hotel.

When Queenie learned that Jack was sponsoring the meal, she asked in disbelief, "Jack is

treating us at the Imperial Grand Hotel? That's a seven-star hotel! Did he bring enough cash? Or are we gonna end up washing dishes there for a year to pay it off?"

The group consisted of five guys from the boys' dorm and five girls from the Fellowship Dormitory.

Jenna was absent. Due to her strained relationship with Samuel and her relocatee boyfriend who looked down on the guys from the male dorms, she never participated in these social gatherings.

Once seated at the restaurant, Joshua and Isaac wasted no time ordering the most expensive and delicious dishes on the menu. They even ventured to try delicacies they'd only seen on food shows.

Still, they showed restraint and kept their selections under 10 thousand dollars as a considerate gesture toward Jack.

After discreetly scanning the wine list, Jack not only added signature dishes to the order but also boldly requested two bottles of 1982 Lafite—each costing tens of thousands. The total bill easily surpassed 100 thousand dollars, leaving his roommates stunned.

As the feast arrived and conversation flowed, Queenie couldn't resist asking again.
