"Pride of Kings" was a game that had taken the world by storm. It was immensely popular all over the globe and had a huge fanbase of its own.

Players of the game who were also students of Montclair were especially proud since their school's team had achieved such spectacular results. It was only natural for them to show up and support the champions at the open discussion.

If everything proceeded as planned, the grand hall should be packed with people when the speech started at 2:00 pm as scheduled by the school staff.

Francesca had pretended to be engrossed in her book when Bella was on the phone with Jack. In reality, she was eavesdropping on what Bella was saying.

After she hung up, Francesca asked with a smile, "Did that morning glory boyfriend of yours call you, Bella?"

Bella nodded in response. "He invited me to have lunch with him in the afternoon, but I already have plans."

A faraway look appeared in Bella's eyes after the words left her lips. As she stared out of the window, she felt as if she could still hear the disappointment in Jack's voice reverberating around in her ears.

Francesca knew that Bella had an important performance in the afternoon and that the performance had been arranged by her mother, Clarice. She knew that Bella would be present no matter what because she didn't dare oppose Clarice's wishes.

When the afternoon rolled around, Bella left the dorm after packing a small bag to bring along with her.

Meanwhile, Francesca and Bethany made their way toward the canteen to have lunch. Since they didn't have lessons in the afternoon, they planned to drop by the grand hall to sit in on the speech after they were done with their meal.

It was then that Jack noticed a familiar silhouette nearby. The person had a tall and slender figure, and even though she had her back turned to him, Jack immediately recognized her.

It was Tatiana, one of his cousins that he had met at the family banquet. She had mentioned that she was a freshman in Montclair Conservatory, but Jack didn't think that he would actually run into her while on campus.

Tatiana was chatting with a few other students at that moment, so she hadn't realized that Jack was standing right behind her. She was a member of the student union and was also a host of the campus radio station.

She had actually planned to go shopping with her boyfriend, Cory Daxton, but had received a last minute notice from the student union. They were worried that there wouldn't be enough people in attendance for the speech, so to avoid that awkward situation, they had asked the student union members to show up to boost the numbers.

Although Tatiana had been reluctant to follow their orders at first, when she heard that the founder of Genesis Games was the speaker, her reluctance diminished slightly.
