Wilhelmina followed Moses' gesture, and when her gaze landed on Jack, her beautiful smile froze. She looked at Moses in shock, her expression darkening.

A glint of amusement flashed in Jack's eyes as he graciously said, "Ms. Dodger, we meet again. Who would've thought we'd get the chance to work together?"

He reached out, wanting to shake Wilhelmina's hand.

Wilhelmina, however, didn't even notice Jack's outstretched hand. Her thoughts were still spinning from what Moses had just revealed.

Though she had braced herself earlier, confirming it still felt like a harsh blow.

Hearing Moses' confirmation, she shifted her gaze toward Todd and the others.

Todd gave an innocent nod, and the surrounding reporters mirrored the gesture.

The truth hit her. Jack—the man she had written off, the one she thought was nothing—was the one they all admired.
