Chapter 1395: State of Hubble Town

In another Villa, another aborigine woman was sitting on the veranda, eyes staring at her garden in deep thought. She sighed, gripping the piece of parchment in her hand.

Fortunately, nothing she did to help the Golds reached anywhere else, so she did not bring any sort of trouble to her parents except for a bit of anxiety.

However, Lord Bleumrick still threatened the supplies coming to her hometown, despite her father doing as they were told. Her father still had no choice but to pay a high amount for the same resources.

It was unfair, but they could do nothing.

Cities generally controlled a region. It wasn’t necessarily always the case, but it was the natural progression of development. After all, if a territory did not have enough Prestige—which was mostly on how much they affected the nearby territories—they wouldn’t be cities in the first place.

Jacoba Town, Ester Town, and Hubble Town were some of the main towns that had interlinked with Bleuelle City. The Jacoba and Ester war did not have much effect on Bleulle of course, but she had a feeling that the trigger of the war also had to do with what had been happening in Bleuelle with the Golds and all.

She was actually right about this, though she would only find out about it some time later.

The Golds was a large family with strong influence.

Although they might seem unassuming when you talk with them now—they were probably relaxing at home having tea at this time—their disappearance actually shook Bleuelle to its core.

With the fall of the Golds, an opening was created among the ’inner’ families, and the Sephon family believed that once they entered there, they were on the same level as the Trions, so they didn’t show as much fear as they would’ve otherwise.

It was not only the Sephon family, either, but several mid-level noble families.

Anyway, it was very chaotic and Vanessa could only hope her family would not experience any worse.
