There was a knock on my door, I opened it up to see Braden standing there. He asked if I was ready for dinner. I said, yes. On the way down we met Sara in the hall with the kids. Precious demanded to be carried by Braden. He bent down and picked her up. I carried Lana and Sara carried David.

As we entered the dining room I gasped. It was like a restaurant. Everyone stopped talking when they saw Braden with Precious in his arms. He said everyone I want to introduce you to my mate Cat and my children. David, Lana, and looking down he said, Precious. He said you will respect my mate and children. Precious may be very tiny but she yelled, what are you looking at?

Haven't you ever seen a daddy carry his daughter before? Everyone busted out laughing and said, Braden if we didn't know any better we would say she was your biological daughter. Then for some reason a leopard came up and said, give her to me! Braden said, back off. He said, Braden, I won't tell you again. Give her to me. She is my mate, I have to hold her.

Braden looked at me and said, has this ever happened before? I said, yes it has. Just hand her over to him. He won't hurt her. He will protect her with his life. He will have to remain close to her so make him her bodyguard. Braden said, Lance, you will be her bodyguard. Lance let out a breath and said, thank you. He walked away with her to where he had been sitting.

As I sat down holding my mate close to me. Several of the guys looked at her grinning. One reached out to stroke her cheek when I growled at him. Randle said I wouldn't do that if I were you. He will take your hand off. You don't understand, she is his mate. He will protect her with his life. The guy said, dam, you have a lot of years to wait for her to grow up.

Lance looked up saying, that is a lot of years I can spoil her even more. We all laughed. Precious looked up and said, Lance, I want a hot dog, hamburger and mac and cheese. I said you can have whatever you want baby. I told the waitress what Precious and I both wanted, and asked milk? She said chocolate milk. I said to get whatever she wants.

The waitress said, your sister is cute. Lance looked at her and said, she is not my sister, she is my mate. Precious then turned around with her back to my chest and looked around the table. She asked if they were my friends. They all said they were and what a pretty little girl she was. She looked up at Lance and asked. Am I really a pretty little girl?

Braden's face turned like stone and he said, I want her arrested and taken to the cells or questioning. I also want to find out if the rest of her team knew if she brought anything back with her from India. We entered the room and I whispered to my teammates what to do. They looked over at Precious fighting to breathe and back at me saying. We will get to the bottom of this. That little girl has stolen all of our hearts.

They left to do what was asked of them. Cat, Precious mother was crying begging for her little girl to open her eyes. The doctor gave her a sedative and Braden lay her in the bed next to Precious. Braden said, you stay and watch them. I looked up saying as if I would leave my mate in this condition. I sat down in a chair next to her bed and put her little hand in mine.

I said, Precious please fight, don't leave me. I just found you. Precious heard someone begging her to fight, not to leave them. I like that voice. I feel safe with him. I will fight for him. It has been a week and Precious has been fighting. We stepped out into the hallway talking to Braden when we heard Code Blue, Code Blue and doctors and nurses running in and out of Precious's room. My friends had to hold Breaden and myself back. I jerked away and said. If I catch who put that fucking snake at that door they are dead. It has been 30 minutes and no word on how my baby girl is doing.
