Atticus hovered high up in the skies of Eldoralth.
If he had to be honest, this exact scene had happened one too many times for it not to feel nostalgic. It always occurred when he was about to do something serious.
There was just something about hovering in the sky that set him at ease. It was too serious, too purposeful.
Occasionally, he’d glance down at the world he had built and be reminded just how far he’d come. Then he’d turn back up and be reminded how far he still had to go until he reached his goal.
This was his sky. He owned this world. He controlled all. These thoughts set him more at ease than anyone could ever believe.
The past week could be said to be eventful, more than Atticus would have liked. He had increased his mother’s talent, and she’d formed her domain and ascended into the Grandmaster ranks.
A banquet had been held just yesterday, and right now, it was morning.
If it had been before, Anastasia would have been in the mansion, reading Noctis stories while going on about her business.
However now, she seemed to have joined the battle crazed family. He had built a training room just for her last night, and she’d been training all night.
So this is how she always felt.
Atticus smiled and shook his head. He used to be the one training for far too long and making Anastasia worry.
Now, she was the one doing it, and Atticus could say with all certainty that he was worried about her.
Now, he felt guilty for all those times he made her feel that way.
’I guess I understand her now.’
The reason why she didn’t want to stand on the sidelines anymore. Why she wanted to join in on the fight.
If it had been him, he would’ve done the same.
Atticus heaved a sigh and shifted his focus to the other matters.
Firstly, the world was progressing steadily. Multiple worlds had merged with Eldoralth in such a short span, which left so much to do, so many people to manage.
Oberon and Jenera had been placed in charge of this, of course. And Eldoralth had already begun to seem united. It was far from perfect, but with the overwhelming might that was Atticus, there was no disobedience.
Everyone on the massive planet was busy. People were getting used to their new lives. Others had already moved on.
The assimilation of their new addition, Kariot, had been even smoother. With their king and circle members still alive and under his strict command, he didn’t have to worry about controlling them.
In fact, since he had turned the circle members into his slaves, he’d sent them to manage their affairs.
Right now, Eldoralth was divided into seven nations, continents, to be more direct. The capital of the world had been made the continent of the original inhabitants of Eldoralth, where the 19 alliances of Eldoralth resided.
