Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1322

Chapter 1322: Admission

"That’s not going to happen. He’s not a threat. He only has his mouth," Atticus said calmly, shut him down. One of the gods had remained behind and had continually tried to rile him up into accepting his offer. Luckily, Atticus could simply tune out the noise.

"You can easily defeat him, bond!" Ozeroth retorted. "Stop him from running that stupid mouth of his."

"I’m sure I can, but I won’t. Not unless I find out as much as I can about the middle planes."

Ozeroth clicked his tongue and turned away, his blazing eyes fixed upward. If he had been a god, he would have shown the bastard his place.

"Are you ready to go to school, my star actor?"

Atticus nodded at Whisker, smiling. "The Eldorians?" he asked.

It had been a week since he began the training of the Eldorians. Not surprisingly, they had all chosen to walk Atticus’ Will path, even Magnus and Avalon.

"A work in progress," Whisker said with a smile. "It’ll take a bit of time."

Atticus nodded. "Include the king and other warriors of Kariot."

"Hmm." Whisker scratched his chin, understanding where Atticus was going. "Will do, Supreme God."

Atticus cringed and shook his head, finally nodding to both of them. "I’ll see you both later."

Whisker waved with a smile, while Ozeroth smirked.

Atticus returned the smile. He had said his goodbyes to his family already and even the Eldorians. Whisker and Ozeroth were the last people he wanted to see.

Now, he was ready to leave.

"Try not to burn my world."

"No promises," said Whisker, while a dangerous glint passed through Ozeroth’s eyes.

Atticus shook his head, trying not to feel too worried.

He was leaving the world in their hands, after all.

’I’m ready,’ he said internally.

Suddenly, he felt a pull, followed by a voice he recognized all too well.

The Great Verge.

"Finally."

That was all Atticus heard before his vision flushed dark.

Atticus expected to open his eyes in the dark world of the Great Verge. Instead, the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes... was a castle.

Medieval in style, but with far more advanced finishing.

He was standing atop a small hill along a path that led down to the castle. Below him sprawled an expansive, walled complex.

The gates were grand. The walls were pure black and solid. Though the castle dominated the view, the compound around it was no less impressive.

Its size was that of a small, walled city but with sparse buildings. Aside from the large castle at the center, Atticus could count the remaining structures.

’I can’t see past it,’ he realized.

There was some sort of fog blocking the city. Aside from the buildings, he couldn’t make out anything else. Not the people. Not their number. Nothing.

Atticus’ arm was on his katana as he took cautious steps toward the castle. He assessed himself as he walked.

’The plane will intensity has increased,’ he realized. He was in a world clearly not his, but he could feel a much stronger pressure from the plane will than he felt on Eldoralth.
