“Lennon just had to say yes.” Stephanie held Belinda’s little face and said.

“That’s great!” Belinda immediately looked at Lennon with anticipation.

Lennon crouched down and looked Belinda in the eye: “I’ll bring it to see you some other day.”

The two of them were already discussing the specific time and place.

“When I came over, she was having a stomachache, so she asked me to look after Belinda for a bit. She’ll be back later,” Lennon answered.

Stephanie glanced at the monitor that had been on the whole time and blinked.

Stephanie nodded and kept asking, “Mr. Lennon, did you come here to see a friend or because you weren’t feeling well?”

But Lennon just smiled and said, “I came to find you.”

Stephanie frowned a little and didn’t say anything, just looked at him.

“Are you free?” Lennon smiled gently and said, “I brought some stuff, gotta go to the open space downstairs.”

He paused for a moment, then added, “Take Belinda with you.”

Stephanie thought for a moment, then nodded.

Taking Belinda along shouldn’t have been something to avoid.

“I’ll leave a note for Kayla,” Stephanie said, then went to a table to write.

“Mm.” Lennon replied, lowering his eyes to watch he write the note.
