“Don’t do anything stupid again, okay?” he said.
Roxanne gave a weak and “forced” smile. She said, “I got it.”
“Just…” She looked miserable and beautiful. “Back then, I didn’t know
what was going on. I kind of couldn’t control my emotions.”
“But I would adjust myself well,” she said.
Maxwell looked up, his dark eyes fixed on her.
Roxanne was a bit nervous.
“What’s wrong, Max?” she said.
Maxwell looked away and turned back to the window.
He shook his head and didn’t say anything.
Outside the window, a few people suddenly walked out onto the distant open ground over there.
It was just too far, he couldn’t see who they were, and didn’t know what they were doing.
But those three little dots just had this weird kind of magic that caught his attention.
On the other side.
Stephanie, Belinda, and Lennon came to the open space together.
Chapter266
Lennon went over to the side and somehow pulled out a bag from somewhere.
Stephanie was holding Belinda’s hand and looking at him curiously.
“Good thing they didn’t take it when I hid it here,” Lennon said, pulling out a few jar–like things from inside.
“What’s this?” Stephanie looked over curiously.
Lennon handed it to her and said, “Fireworks, not the kind that shoot up into the sky with a big noise, but there will still be a little bit of sound.”
He looked at Belinda again, handed the other one to her, and said, “Can Belinda look at this?”
Stephanie looked at the firework. It was the kind you put on the ground and it would shoot out sparks. She was thinking about it and hadn’t said anything yet, but Belinda nodded.
“Sure,” Belinda said. “The dean let us watch it during New Year’s before, so I could watch it.”
Stephanie asked McKayla again, and after getting a it’s okay answer, she nodded.
Lennon had already gone to the open space and set it up.
Stephanie held Belinda in her arms and covered Belinda’s ears.
“Whoosh!”
I lit the fuse, and those fireworks just went off on the ground.
They burned in clusters, making bursts of beautiful fire trees and silver flowers.

Chapter266
“Wow!”
Belinda giggled and clapped her hands happily.
Stephanie also smiled and let go of her hands that had been covering Belinda’s cars.
Looking at those clusters of burning fireworks, the sadness from before faded a lot.
“I actually prepared a drone fireworks show for today.” Lennon stood next to her and said softly, “But later… we couldn’t use it. I thought about it and still felt unwilling, so I brought these guys to find you.”
