Roxanne’s eyes turned red with grievance.

A few people were at the emergency exit. Maxwell pulled Roxanne behind him, looking like he was protecting her.

McKayla looked more annoyed.

Showing off all over the internet, but acting like this at the hospital.

Was it because you were worried about Stephanie, or were you just showing off to Stephanie?

“If you want to act all lovey–dovey, then get lost. I wasn’t putting up with you two acting like that!”

Roxanne didn’t say anything, just looked down and pretended to be upset.

Maxwell frowned and said, “Don’t go at her. What did you mean by what you just said?”

“Someone hit Stephanie on purpose with a car. I suspected you told someone to do it.” McKayla didn’t hold back and said straight out, “I suspected you wanted to get rid of Steph fast so you could marry Roxanne!”

Maxwell hadn’t said anything yet, and Roxanne already stood up.

“Dr. Clark, wasn’t that a bit insulting?”

Roxanne criticized sternly, “There were lots of reasons why Stephanie

Roxanne looked really angry and quickly said, “You were the one who called Max and told him to come. Now we’re here, and we’ve been here for a while, but you still haven’t let us see what’s going on with Stephanie. Dr. Clark, what do you mean by this?”

“Stephanie was totally fine, you just didn’t dare let us see her!”

These few things Roxanne said totally pissed off McKayla.

I remembered how miserable Stephanie looked when she was just brought in.

And also her fear after she found out about the whole thing.

Stephanie was Rh negative. Even if she wasn’t pregnant, it was still dangerous if something happened.

Not to mention she was pregnant with his, Maxwell’s, baby!

And this Roxanne, who allowed her to slander Stephanie here!

McKayla snapped, “Roxanne, are you freaking out right now because you were the one who hit the person and you just want to shift the blame?”

A flash of panic passed through Roxanne’s eyes, but she quickly covered it up and turned it into feeling wronged.

Maxwell stood in front of Roxanne and said coldly, “Roxie had paparazzi following her ever since she left Everbloom Floral Studio at 8:45 p.m., her whole/schedule was posted online, and after that she was with me the whole time.”
