Her lips parted a little, she hesitated for a moment, then raised her hand and put it into his palm.
He held her hand tight, and his eyes were full of smiles.
She kept her head down and didn’t dare look at his face.
The two of them kept holding hands and walked for quite a while, then they passed by a snack stand.
The stall was run by a couple. They were busy. There was a mosquito net in a small cart next to them, and a kid was sleeping inside.
The couple were busy as bees, but the kid slept soundly.
Stephanie glanced twice, and Lennon said, “How about we go get some liangpi?”
“Sure,” Stephanie said. She had drunk a lot that night, and after walking for a while, she really did feel a bit hungry.

He said, “The stuff on the boat was all easy to keep, so every time we stopped at a port, we always went ashore to eat something tasty.”
“Every snack made me feel really tasty.”
He said this, took out a tissue, and wiped the sauce off the corner of her mouth.
“But I thought the best food was still all kinds of dishes from our own country.”
It seemed like he thought of something, his face froze a little, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
“What’s wrong?” Stephanie took the tissue from his hand and wiped herself, looking confused.
