She walked through the crowd, got into the car, and then smiled.
Claudia Demers, the “elite caregiver” hired from Pauwia, handed her a bottle of mineral water, looking hesitant.
She said coldly, “Speak up. The driver is one of us.‘
Claudia then said in a small voice, “Ms. Gregg, you paid our sanatorium to falsify your gastric ulcers as stage–four stomach cancer. It was already very risky. And now, you want to live stream? What if the whole thing blows up?”
Roxanne smiled in contempt, which baffled Claudia even more.
“Is the sanatorium a medical institution?”
Claudia nodded.
“Is my medical record independently managed there?”
Claudia nodded again.
“Is it stated in my medical record that I’ve got stomach cancer and only have six months left?”
With slight hesitation, Claudia nodded again.
“So,” Roxanne smiled, “why would I be worried?”
“But it’s not stomach cancer. You…”
“There are two ways to fix this.” Roxanne looked at Claudia, her gaze warning.

“Either a miracle happens and I somehow recover after treatment at your sanatorium or elsewhere.
“Or your sanatorium misdiagnosed. Then it’d be a medical malpractice, making me the victim of prolonged mistreatment.”
As she continued, her threatening tone became even more obvious. “Which will it be, Claudia?”
Claudia bit her lip. After a long time of silence, she said, “I’m sorry, Ms. Gregg. I guess I was worried over nothing. I won’t say anything again.”
Roxanne let out a cold chuckle.
“Where are we going now, Ms. Gregg?” Claudia asked to ease the awkwardness.
Browsing her phone, Roxanne replied casually, “Northpine Hospital.”
Claudia was anxious again. “But…”
“Chill. I’ll just get some painkillers with my medical record.” Saying this, Roxanne texted Maxwell, wanting him to pick her up at the hospital later.
Soon, he replied, “OK.”
Meanwhile, Stephanie was in the hospital’s restroom. Her lower abdomen was throbbing with pain, and the tissue she was clutching was blood–stained.
Both were signs of potential miscarriage.
Roxanne was on the way to Northpine Hospital.
Topics about her final days had gone viral online.

Netizens were exchanging their views in the comment section.
Netizen A: “Honestly, I like Roxanne. She’s true to her feelings. What’s wrong with that?”
Netizen B: “Totally. Women are lining up to be with Mr. Humphrey. Why can’t she be one of them? She can do whatever she wants as long as she does nothing to ruin his family.”
Netizen C: “I caught a glimpse of the rich people’s world through the videos she posted and her livestream from the mountain villa. I really don’t want her to die.”
Netizen D: “Who’s Mr. Humphrey’s wife? Can’t she step aside? Roxanne only has six months left.”
Netizen E: “Oh, I know the answer to that! It’s a musician named Stephanie Shelton. She stopped working after marrying Mr. Humphrey. Typical gold digger.”
