Ryan felt like a fool. All this while, how was he not able to see this?

His jaw clenched, and his fingers curled into fists. Looking down at Delyth, he pulled his lips in a disdainful smile. "I am ... damn serious. Every word that I spoke ... I was serious about it. Very serious." And with that, he unclasped her fingers from his arm before pushing her back.
